Landmark Van Lines

I am a recent university graduate and was try to be moving to a new city for my job away from my family. I looked Landmark Vanlines online and I got a very competitive price for my one bedroom apt. Pick up was amazing but I have to say I listened to my representative who said it was a good idea to have everything prepared so the pick up would be smooth. The importance of the move was that I was told by my building that a big truck would be able to do the delivery in aurora but it wasn't so I had to pay a shuttle fee that wasn't originally on the estimate but honestly I am a very happy customer and I would use them again if I had to move from Aurora for work again.

This is the worst company to ever move your possession they lye about the moving date. They disrespect your possession give you the runaround when you make any claims.lose your claims report.give you false email address to process your claims.I would never recommend them to anyone.they don't give you the weight of the truck before your possessions are loaded so they can tell you false weight of your possessions then charge you.never have I seen such dishonesty.I you ate smart people never get them anywhere near your possessions.they very unreliable
and very rough.I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.very disgusted in their company.

Im actually shocked at reading some of these reviews as my family and I have only nice things to say about Landmark. We had to move to Halifax to me closer to my mom because of her heath issues... We contacted Landmark once we sold our house and were ready to head to a new province. They offered me a month storage free because we were having a hard time finding a place of our own in Halifax. We went a little bit over the free storage but were assured that it would only cost 7 cents a pound after what they offered was up. We had to pay an extra 200 for storage when we were ready for for our stuff to be sent to us. This was reasonable to me because some storage places we looked at in Halifax wanted 400 a month!! Anyways they sent our belonings to us in Halifax. Besides being a couple hours late on the delivery they did a great job. The movers were really friendly and proffessional as well. When it is time to us to move back to Ontario I will definitely keep them in mind. Great all around experience.

I am very sorry for myself that I did not see those reviews before . I asked them to help me to move from Toronto to Thunderbay and I asked them I need my furniture there on 3 Nov , and they accepted and promised that my funiture will be there on time ,and i call them many times to be sure they will do it on time because I have little kid and it is so hard to stay in hotel for long time. they came and picked up my funiture on 23oct , but now, after they picked up evrey things ,they say no your furniture will arrived on 12 Nov and nobady answers me why . I donot know what is going on! . it is unacceptable

My name is B. I have had a delivery with Landmark and I moved from North York to Rexdale. I didn't have a lot of items to move as i am one guy in a basement. They were a little late for pick up but it didn't bother me. The scheduler called me the day before to confirm they were coming. The movers did a great job with my stuff and move. I would use Landmark to move with again, and I recommend them to others.

My name is Mark T. I moved from BC-Toronto. I moved in Aug 2014 from a 1bedroom apartment to a 1bedroom condo. I had a lot of expensive antique furniture to move. It was passed down to me from my grandma. I tried to Tell the movers a bit about my items, but they spoke another language. I was worried that I was hiring inexperienced movers, but after all said and done my stuff arrived and I was very happy that they all came in one piece. I recommend Landmark to everyone.

I had a move in Sept 2014, I went from Innisfil-Calgary. I moved for my job. When I booked with Matthew he really made me feel secure about moving across Canada. He was so knowledgeable. I read some other reviews after I booked my move and was very nervous. But after speaking to my husband he looked up other companies and read their reviews and they have the same moving complaints. Apparently as much as you wrap and secure your stuff it still can be damaged. So I didn't have an address in Calgary yet and they offered me 5 weeks free storage. That's was a big help. Saved me some moving expenses. Moving is stressful to begin with. When I found my home I called my rep Matthew and advised him of my address. My stuff went out on the next departure trip and from that departure date I received my belongings approx 9 days later. Overall I had a great experience with Landmark and would recommend to others.
