We needed window covering that works with our existing sheer drapery and will also block out the strong morning sun. Keo at H. Sewing was most knowledgeable and helpful. He helped us with the selection of fabric and style. He made a home visit to obtain the measurements and the drapes were installed in two weeks as promised. We're very pleased with the services rendered and have no hesitation in recommending H. Sewing Drapery.

More than 10 years ago we bought our first townhouse and we were looking for drapery. We opened Yellow Pages ( yes , yes .. )
and we founded H. Sewing Drapery. After two more houses we still with H.Sewing Drapery because they are good . Just simply - they are very good. We recommend them to all our friends and neighbours.

One of my windows has a walkout to the patio and the drapes were in desperate need of replacing. I heard about H. Sewing and Drapery from a friend and decided to call them for a quote. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating of my busy schedule. Because I was unable to go there during the weekday, they made an appointment for me to visit their warehouse on a weekend. Lisa & Keo walked me through numerous fabric options and hardware suggestions. Not only did they offer their design expertise, they also took into consideration my pet cat and told me what would work best with him running around. The work was completed painlessly and efficiently. Definitely will be going back when I redress the other windows.

We searched for over three months for a drapery provider in the GTA and are extremely grateful that we found H. Sewing Drapery. If you have performed this same exercise you will have seen the astronomical pricing that many Toronto service providers charge often for sub par service and installation. It was tremendously refreshing to meet Lisa and her husband who were extremely professional, extremely courteous, responsive and skilled in selecting, installing and quality controlling the final product. We ordered drapes for a series of large windows in our living room and master. Lisa was tremendously helpful in selecting a beautiful velvet material and ensured the drapes appeared fulsome by providing healthy inner linings. Her blackout backings were perfect for our bedroom and her recommendations accommodated both the traditional and renewed elements of our home's décor. Above all else her pricing was extremely compelling relative to over half a dozen other vendors we investigated, she came in at half the price of many others for the identical fabric. In fact, amongst all the vendors we have dealt with, we have never experienced better value and service than from H. Sewing Drapery. Lisa responds immediately by email, she resolves issues instantaneously and the execution and delivery of her product is second to none. This company also performs significant commercial-grade work including television broadcasted setups which we were originally unaware of but unsurprised to hear. If you are in search of drapery/window coverings please consider this review, in particular given that I never write reviews but have taken the time to acknowledge and recognize the absolutely compelling value this Company has to offer. I could not be more grateful for them!

Best value for custom roller shades I could find for my loft with 14' ceilings. I searched all over Toronto for new custom roller shades and H Sewing delivered the best value and service. I wish I could have gone generic blinds but my windows are huge. They were fast and professional and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Thank you

Very good, consistent quality for a very reasonable price.
One thing I would like to note is that the business is very busy, and can miss deadlines (often by a week or more), though to be fair the upholstery business seems to have very long deadlines (sometimes two months or more).

Also, when doing anything upholstery, it helps to know exactly what you want. If you want lining in your curtains, see how it's done on the examples that are on site. Be thorough. Look at how the lining is sewn on all sides. If you want the lining sewn at the bottom (which H Sewing usually does not do), mention it.

Roman Shades were a little different than I had pictured. Again, I recommend looking at the examples at the store to see if the end product would be to your taste.
