Price was reasonable from the other estimates we received. the Workers showed up earlier than expected, and did such a great job. When they were done they were even sweeping my grass making sure the site was completely cleaned up. I had seen a Chinook Exteriors Truck in our community and decided to request a quotation for work on our home. From my meeting with Dean to go over the work I wanted done to the job completion, everyone at Chinook Exteriors was a pleasure to work with.
I appreciated JF taking the time to talk with me the next day when he delivered a disposal trailer for the crew. He wanted to make sure that the trailer would not be in our way. I was very impressed with the quality of the work the company has done on our home and particularly Mathieu's workmanship and attention to detail. He let me know a piece of siding was loose on the chimney that I was able to have repaired.
We couldn't be happier with our decision to use Chinook Exteriors, and have recommended them to our neighbor.

Trouble free all the way through.

Chinook was an excellent team to deal with. Cayla always responded to my emails promptly. When Dean came to estimate, he really listened when we explained what we wanted - this is what made us choose Chinook over another company who quoted a similar price. Mathieu did a great job of replacing rotten fascia, replacing wood soffits with vented ones, and running downspouts to ensure water stays far from our house. And we can't forget Hatchi, who was a pleasure to have around.
We are very happy and our neighbours have been admiring the work!

My attic had no air intake due to blocked soffits in the eaves of the house. This caused the attic to heat up too much in summer and destroy the shingles, which curled and became brittle over time. I contacted several companies that installed soffits, but no one wanted to do the labour of unblocking the soffits. Chinook answered our call though, and Dean came to our house. He told us that to remove the old plywood that existed under the metal soffits he would have to remove the soffits, fascia and eavestroughing (gutters) which are all interconnected, and then install new product.
A week later Mathieu came, and after removing the old material and sawing out the plywood all along the front and back sides of the house, he discovered another problem: 2x4 wood blocks covered the vent spaces leading into the attic. Mathieu struggled almost 5 hours to clear the 54 openings. Whew! After that was accomplished 2 more crew members joined Mathieu to quickly and efficiently install the new product. The job took about 18 hours total, and everything was left clean, plus my flowerbeds were not damaged at all.
I am happy with Chinooks work. All the workers were knowledgeable, skillful, and accommodating. I watched them unblock the soffits and feel confident they did a good job. Next an attic insulation company will come to remove the old insulation, install baffles in the unblocked eaves, and re-insulate the attic to R50.

We had Chinook come replace our eavestrough, soffit & fascia last February in Auburn Bay. I was very satisfied with the communication from right after I sent my request to the quick turnaround of Cayla answering me to Dean coming to give me a free estimate. We did shop around for estimates and found Chinook to be priced around the same as other companies but we chose them because their communication and how helpful Jean Francois the owner was with all our questions and concerns on colours and sizes. Jean Francois was also our installer and he was very polite, fast - you can for sure tell he knows what he is doing as i thought more then one person would come for a job this large but he rocked it - and we fell in love with his dog he had who was so well behaved as well, my kids loved him. I am writing my review now as my husband backed into the garage door, so we needed another exterior job done , Chinook came and shortly after i called them to help with that issue, but as they took a look and noticed some siding sticking out and fixed that on site right there too, and didnt even charge us! We are so pleased with this company and recommend them to everyone. We found out the owner actually lives in Auburn Bay as well, as this company is locally owned and operated so supporting local on top of it all. Thank you Chinook!

Dean with Chinook Exteriors was one of the best estimating experiences I have had to date. He came out to estimate and was polite and extremely accommodating. Dean did everything plus more he said they would and had ideas beyond what I wanted done to make things look even better.

My installer Mathieu showed up on time with his amazing dog and completed the job. He was an absolute beauty and my kids loved watching his dog out back. The quality if work was nothing short of amazing. Chinook needs to come back once I put some cladding on to re-hang a spout, but I have little doubt they wont come back and complete this job.

Chinook was priced fairly (as much as 50% better in some cases then others). They got started on the job when I asked and created no hassle for me whatsoever. I still haven't even been asked for payment. This is not a fake review, but a genuine review from a very happy homeowner who would be more then willing to refer if Chinook ever needed a reference.
