Precision Landscaping

We had Steve, and his company come out to fix some unsatisfactory stonework done by another company last year. His men came to work and we had ongoing issues with the quality of work, spilled cement, etc. After some back and forth, he sent another crew to make the job right. They did a better job however, it was not perfect. He also rearranged some shrubbery for us, and that was fine. He displayed a pleasant and friendly attitude and worked to make us happy. - That was then.

This year we wanted some garden maintenance and shrub trimming done. We were quoted $900 for a weekly service which felt we didn't need, thus were quoted $450 for bi-weekly. When Steve came to look at our shrubs he discouraged us from biweekly service and charged the same price of $450 for a "Spring cleanup" to which we agreed, although we thought pricey. When we expressed our concerns that shrubs would regrow, he said someone would come back to trim again. There was no mention of an extra charge for this retrim.

Six weeks later, we tried with difficulty to contact the owner about coming back to do another trim. When speaking to him, his attitude changed and he said that there would be a charge for that service. This was now $100, one quarter of the cost of the "Spring cleanup". We reiterated that we weren't told of a charge, and he denied this. This time during the phone conversation it was mentioned by him that a "Spring cleanup" costs $380. So it appears that the prices are being made up, as we paid $450 plus tax, which is ridiculous!! And to think we were going to use this company to do further landscaping is a joke.

When we said there was no mention of a charge for a retrim, he responded with "Did you ask if there was a charge?" We told him that it was his job to inform us. He was all pleasant and smiling when we agreed to the "Spring cleanup" for which we were apparently charged to much. He also said that we could not expect a retrim for free and that if we don't agree we can do it ourselves.
Needless to say we will not be using Precision Landscaping again, and we DO NOT recommend them.

We used Precision landscapers for our driveway, patio, and lawns. Booking one company for multiple significant services felt a bit worrisome at first. However, Precision streamlined the entire process and I was ultimately less stressed since I didn't have to contact three different companies to do three different things. The new interlocking looks gorgeous and perfectly complements the tones of the house and garden (we chose stones that Precision recommended to us). I am raving about the new patio and have already put it to good use. Precision gave us their 100% and I am more than happy to let others know about my experience.

We called Precision for a backyard interlocking project, Martein our Project manager work around our budget & gave us a reasonable price. Tom and his crew are very nice people, we are very impressed with the high quality of their work and professionalism. We will be recommending you to our friends and family. Had this company redo my backyard flagstone. They are one of the best contractors I've ever dealt with. They finished ahead of schedule and the work looks great. Very satisfied and will be contacting them to have my interlock redone.

Steve's team did a great job. The job was pretty big; they totally redid my driveway (from asphalt to interlock) and planted all along the front of the house. My wife and I are loving the transformation. In the week since completion I have received numerous compliments and I owe all to these guys. Everyone I had met at the company (owner, secretary, labourers) all seemed to enjoy working there which translated into the quality of service I received. From the design phase to completion and compliments, Precision was a delight to work with.

Like the title says - I am happy with Precision's work on my house. Its my second time contracting them. Second time was just as good as the first. I am always impressed by their professionalism. They always to go the extra mile for us.

Precision Landscaping completed a deck, interlock patio and backyard renovation project for us last summer. Steve is very attentive to details and a delight to deal with. We wanted to make sure that the job would be completed properly as the deck was going to be with tempered glass railing and substantially elevated. We contacted several landscaping and decking companies and lots of them declined the project as both the height and materials of the deck were beyond the scope of experience of what they had done before. Moreover, those who were willing to take the project, their prices were outrageously expensive or were very high pressure. We dealt with Steve, who project managed and went through in detail the panning part and work. He was very open our idea, and not fixed on other ideas, he specifically went and did what WE wanted! The work was done according to the plan, and preformed really well. Interlock was also done beyond our expectations. Steve was great helping us pick materials that went with the house and gave the best look. Crew spent lots of time working in our backyard, dealing with stumps, grading and creating solid structural foundation upon which they put together a beautiful interlocking/turf combination we will enjoy for years to come! Precision landscaping delivered all promises. The whole team Alex, Nick, Martein, Gena and everyone on site was very professional, respectful and open. Communication at all stages was excellent. There was no chasing around and anticipated delays (mostly because of the weather) were communicated in advance. Thank you very much, our backyard looks stunning. Precision did everything right - just a great team to to work with. Had a nice selection of plants but I had to choose the hydrangea. Honestly beat my expectations, so I'm grateful I went with the right company!

Definitely using Precision for all of my future outdoor projects - My flagstone and grass look amazing. My wife and I are thrilled with the work thanks to their creative ideas. The workers were always very kind too.
