Ryan and crew were very professional throughout the project, and while job started slightly later due to COVID delays, they finished the entire job in the course of 3 days and blew us away with their workmanship, tidiness, and great project management. Place was left in impeccable condition, and the deck has been a great addition to our backyard. Ryan, thank you for your professionalism.

They tore down a very large older deck and built a new one that was an exact replica. The work was done on time and on budget and with care. It looks great and feels much more solid than the one it replaced. Excellent work by courteous careful people. Recommended.

I was looking to build a deck and wanted someone who specialized in building decks. After meeting multiple contractors, I ended up choosing Golden Valley Decks.

The reason I decided to go with Golden Valley Decks was because of Ryan. Every contractor I met with, gave me the whole sales pitch and played up how much work was needed and inflated the price ridiculously, not to mention the huge disparity in prices from one contractor to the next. From our initial call to our onsite meeting. Ryan took the time to captured all my ideas, thoughts and features I was looking for first. He then took the time to educated me around all the different options available, provided multiple suggestions, and took all the measurements needed to accurately provide a 3D rendering and a accurate quote. I honestly expected Ryan to take about a couple of days but no, he had a 3D rendering and quote literally the next day. What was most impressive was how he was able to capture everything I was looking for and help me visualize my ideas with the rendering. Prices were absolutely fair and the workmanship was absolutely phenomenal! Ryan set proper expectations, clearly communicated timelines, and the open communication was amazing. Ryan and his team completed the job as mentioned and really blew me away to see how great of a job him and his team did. I’m so happy I decided to go with Golden Valley Decks and this is what sets great companies apart from the rest. Thank you Ryan and team for the amazing deck! We had a concept in mind and GV/Ryan made it a reality! He ensured our project met the City’s bylaws and built a quality deck that met all of our expectations. Ryan and his crew were very easy to work with in building our 15x20 composite deck and shed platform. He was through, broke down all the costs and services, and even accommodated some last minute changes (ie changing material to Trex). He provided a 3D visualization of our design intent to ensure he understood our needs. BTW, this review is written a bit late, about 2 months, but the deck and pergola are built solid have had now issues, even after the extremely windy and rainy days last October.

Within a few days Ryan was at our house for our first meeting (versus 2 other companies who said they can provide quotes by looking at satellite images!) He even called us to let us know he was running 5 minutes late. At our first meeting, he explained the benefits of Trex (composite decks) in simple terms, showed us a huge book of his project work to give us deck design ideas and provided what turned out to be a highly competitive quote. Once the deal was signed in mid-August Ryan provided an estimated date for the work for the last week in September and said he will contact us a few days before. To our delight, Ryan was able to fit our project in 2 weeks earlier. Within 4 days our new deck was built and we have been enjoying through the warmer fall weather.
