Barracuda Painting

David did a great job painting our place! We left him the key to our place so he could paint while we were at work. He made the process as painless as possible for us. Not only helping to select colors, but he kept the house very clean throughout the job. Definitely 5 stars!

We contacted three contractors from homestars. We had two comparable estimates and contacted Dave Barracuda to confirm service and learned he was away on vacation. We never received a reply from the other contractor. We contacted Dafe again once he was back from vacation and he was s me to do the work the very next day. He arrived on time, with all necessary equipment and high We quality premium paint in the color of our choice. He and his helper completed the work safely and efficiently with high level quality of work. He is a very respectful courteous

We've decided to renovate our print shop to give it an updated look. David and his team were extremely helpful with advice and suggestions. Very professional service. Completed in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. I would use them again for any future projects, and have already recommended them to friends and clients.

We got several quotes on the paint work required for the exterior of our home. We were delighted that we found David. He was punctual on our appointment and was prompt on providing the quote which was very reasonable. He answered all our questions clearly. He was excellent in communicating through the process from start to finish. We are very satisfied with the job and would definitely use him in the future. In conclusion, we are happy we found David as a good tradesman is hard to find sometimes.

I had Barracuda out last summer to paint the exterior of my home. They did a great job and really made the house look sharp. I had them back this summer to paint the main living areas of the home. It looks like a new place now. So clean and fresh. Several colours and all the trim, they did a great job.

David and his team did an excellent job. Our pergola is quite large with interwoven privacy walls. The detail of the work is excellent. It almost looks like it was all taken apart, solid stained, and reassembled.

We will use Barracuda Painting for our next project.

I would highly recommend Barracuda Painting to anyone looking for painters. David and his team were professional and easy to work with from start to finish. David accommodated a tight time frame and worked over the long weekend to get our painting done, and did a wonderful and very precise job doing it. It was a pleasure!

David painted the exterior of our new garage doors and the exterior of our old front door and two bathroom vanities. Excellent work, great price! He came when he promised he would, left everything neat and tidy when he left. We couldn't be happier with the work he did. We've already mentioned him to a number of friends and he'll be the first one we call if we've got another paint job in the future.

Having recently purchased a new town house, it was evident that it was going to require a complete paint job top to bottom as there were a number of damaged, scratched up and small holes in the wall.

I decided to do as I've done in the past and make 4 quotes of reputable people/companies that I could find on the internet in Calgary and discuss what I thought needed to happen in my home. All three of the "other guys" just made notes as I was talking and giving the traditional "oh, that's going to be a lot of work..." and continued to add/pad their quote.

David took the time to review damage to my walls, explaining the process of filling, priming, painting, sanding and re-painting to make it look perfect. The wife really appreciated that as she doesn't always listen to me ;) He advised that our window trim was in good shape and he didn't recommend to have it repainted given the cost/benefit and as the inside was vinyl and eventually it would peel and have to be re-done. Some magic erasers, on David's advice cleaned up the minor scuffs and look good as new.

David's price was good too and there were no hidden fees or upgrades or any other deceitful tactics. David gave us a time frame, started the job and ended when he said he would. After reviewing the job that he did and comparing to my own experiences here and in other provinces I've lived, I was blown away with the near perfection of the lines around window trim, baseboards, closet hangars and other obstacles. He even called me up to ask if I wanted to have him remove the curtain roads as they were practically falling off anyway, fill in the holes and paint it all up new so that I could properly hang a new rod and hardware into some studs.

I would highly recommend David to friends, family and commercial applications as it's been a long time that I've been this satisfied with the service, the job that was done, the attention to detail and his recommendations when we were discussing details in building up the quote.
