David was excellent in his communications, punctual, always professional, caring, cheerful and happy to please, with a great quality work ethic. He was recommended by another exterior home company whom I trust. He came promptly and at times that were suitable, working around other tradesmen. His price was very reasonable. He also, helped choose colours for the job. I appreciated his suggestions to update my aging home. I am extremely happy with the results. I will be having David back to paint the exterior later.

I called David based on reviews here on Homestars. What can I say about David that hasn't already been said? Professional, friendly, prompt, and an all-round nice guy! My job was very small, but David always returned my calls promptly and was really quick to get the job done. My only concern in highly recommending him is that I don't want him to get so busy that I'll have a hard-time booking him for all my painting needs!

David is the best! I just happened to notice that he was spraying some garage doors in the city, I pulled over to chat as I had been really wanting my doors to stand out more. Not only was he super friendly but he dropped everything he was doing to explain the procedure and let me know he would squeeze me in that day or the next. He helped me pick out a colour (even met me at the paint store) and came the next day. As he was spraying our doors I got a text from a neighbour complimenting his work. I loved the doors so much I wanted my front door painted asap. He hooked me up with a list of the perfect supplies to purchase to paint my front door myself. It turned out awesome! We love the way our house looks. It's so much warmer and inviting. Im so glad I just happened to run into David that day!

Dave was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn't be happier with the job that he did. He was very responsive when I called and went out of his way to stop by and provide me a quote within an hour of calling him. He painted the entire condo, doors, ceilings and he even put a fresh coat of paint on the exterior door. He is friendly, honest, professional and meticulous. The place had been rented for years and there were holes and dings everywhere, the walls look perfect now. I don't have words for how grateful and impressed I am with his work and how quickly he got it done for me. I can tell that he takes pride in his work and I would definitely call Dave again, he's awesome.

I highly recommend David and Barracuda Painting for all of your home painting needs. The entire process was seamless from beginning to end. After speaking with David on the phone, I quickly decided that he would be an excellent person to work with. He was very helpful and honest on the phone and provided me with answers to many of my initial questions. David was flexible with his time and offered to come and give a quote which was broken down into smaller components so that we could make a decision that was within our financial budget. He even offered his input with paint colors. He was very professional and courteous from the get go. Our job had time constraints and David was able to keep to his timeline. The communication process was great as David always picked up calls and responded promptly. Above and beyond that, the painters who came did a fantastic job. They were very courteous, friendly and respectful of my house. I felt that they did a fantastic job covering my floors and light fixtures. They went the extra mile to take care of a lot of extra little details. Without hesitation I would use them for any future painting needed and I have already recommended David and his company to my own family.

Fantastic customer service! Would definitely use again. We asked for the painting to be done on the day we took possession of our new home. The work couldn't start until noon but we were told "when I say I'll get the work done, I'll get the work done". They worked until 6:30 on Stampede Friday and the paint looks great! Even more, he had some potential flooding at his new house (because of massive rain) and he maintained an extremely professional and positive outlook. I would have been fine if he came back another day but he repeated that "when I say I'll get the work done, I'll get the work done" and he sure did. Would definitely recommend to anyone! He even stayed back and gave me tips on re-finishing my deck. I was very impressed with the service. Thank you!

We have had Barracuda do two paint jobs for us, this is a review for the first one. After getting a handful of quotes for a bedroom and ensuite bathroom, including the trim. Barracuda was the most competitive. Talking to David, he seemed friendly and knowledgable. Just an all-around nice guy. He did not try to upsell or recommend unnecessary things we did not need.

I was impressed with how fast David got the job done and the quality of work he did. He did a good job of covering furniture and cleaning up afterwards. When they finished painting, my wife noticed a section were the original paint was showing through a tiny bit (the previous color was a dark ugly blue). They did another coat at no charge, and we are very happy with our bedroom. Great painter, we used him for another job the next year.

Our project was a 900+ square foot condo in need of a new colour scheme. Dave and his crew were professional, helpful, and efficient. He replied to our request for a quote promptly, scheduled an assessment that fit our availability, and came back with a quote in less than 48 hours. He listened to and addressed our concerns regarding VOCs and guided us in choosing a quality, eco-friendly paint. He estimated the job would take three days to complete, and to our surprise it was finished in just two. Dave and his crew worked through the weekend to get it done in a timely manner. To top it off, he came in under his original quote, which was very reasonable to begin with. We would recommend Barracuda to anyone looking for a cost effective painter to get an excellent job done on time and on budget.

Was looking on Homestars for a painter to re-do our Garage Doors. Davids company shows 10 stars for numerous reviews. He was great to deal with and they did an excellent job, Garage Doors look like new. Would highly recommend Barracuda Painting. I will be using them again.
