Paint Finish Poor

Paint & Wallpaper Contractors review in Mississauga

Imran and the crew from Sweet Painters repainted our kitchen cabinets. It looked good when first delivered and installed, however, after 3 months the doors and drawers started peeling and looking old. Even ones that were seldom used. We contacted Imran many times, and he promised to come see us to fix and repaint, however, after several no shows, he stopped responding to phone and text messages. It's been over a year now and he hasn't answered our text or voice mails. We are searching for a more reputable company to fix Sweet Painters inferior quality work. Cannot recommend this company for refinishing kitchen cabinets. Their lack of care and customer service is shocking.

Thansk for your feedback Mr. Anonymous. First off, we use commercial grade products on all the finishing that we do for any kitchen. These products are designed to last for years and years not months. If they look good when they were installed it's because they're actually good. No product deteriorates within a period of three months and starts to look old. If that was the case many users from the past and years before would write similar reviews based on their experience. Outstanding job by Sweet refinishing. Very happy with the quality of the cabinet painting. The timeline was a little longer than we had hoped but the results were worth the wait.
Imran is an excellent communicator. He gets back with updates and confirms changes in a professional manner.
This is a family business dedicated to customer service.. it was a pleasure to meet them. I was particularly impressed when his mother delivered our finished doors/l drawers late one evening to keep the project moving.

My daughter had her kitchen cabinets refinished by Sweet Refinishing and they did an excellent job! At the same time I was looking for new kitchen chairs to go with my new harvest table. I was having a hard time finding good quality chairs within my budget to replace the solid oak chairs that I have. I had an “a ha” moment and called Imran and asked if he recommended refinishing chairs. He said he had done them in the past and reassured me that they would be that the finish would be durable so I went ahead and had him paint my six, very well made solid oak chairs, in a matte finish white. It’s been six weeks and I am very happy with the finished product and the durability of the paint finish. I would totally recommend Sweet Refinishing and would use them again 100%.
