Rodex was recommended to us by the tile retailer, where we were purchasing our back-splash tiles. We had pretty good idea what we wanted for our L-shaped island with the cooktop in it. We went to Rodex to look at some options and samples, and although the front door to their showroom was locked there was a note on the door directing customers to the back entrance. We walked around the building and knocked on warehouse door. And this is how we met Joe, business owner who was working with the crew in the shop on a few beautiful stone pieces that he proudly show us and explained the process. Since Eileen was away, Joe showed us around and gave us samples to take home. Eileen followed up later on the same day with the phone call and asked us many questions. We sent her photos and plans of our kitchen and the quote for island quartz countertop promptly followed. We were very impressed how fast and smooth everything went how competitive their pricing was and how wonderful and personal Joe and Eileen are. There were no gimmicks, no hidden costs and our awesome countertop was installed about a week later. We love it. There was one small mark on a seam that needed a bit of touch up and it was promptly fixed by Joe who stopped by our house on Saturday. We would highly recommend Rodex to anyone searching for the custom stonework, best pricing and best customer service in town!

I just wanted to follow up Christina D's review with a few pictures of the project. Joe and Eileen were amazing to deal with and we couldn't be happier with the results.

We had a tricky installation. It involved removing the old granite counters and not breaking the glass tile back splash. The old counters were a custom thickness so our new counters needed a mitred edge. One section of our counter has an inside rounded corner which doesn't play nice with the required mitred edge to match the thickness. There was also the issue of one of the counters sitting on top of the granite and having to slide the old counters out and the new counters in with the cupboard sitting on top. All in all - a huge mess. We had other companies in - citing that this job was very difficult, that the back splash would be ruined, that we would have to get a carpenter in to build a sub-counter, that we would have to go 10 days with no counter tops, sink, stove etc and on and on and on. We were completely deflated. We persevered, found Home Stars, found Joe and wow! I could not be happier. He came in, found solutions to all our issues and went into planning mode. I admit, I was very hesitant as he does old school templating and was very honest in that he couldn't guarantee that no tiles would be broken. He should have! His team did an amazing job. They templated with the counters in, came 3 days later to both remove and install the new counter in the same day. We didn't miss a beat! As well, Joe told us he would have to deal with the edge on the rounded bit in a less than ideal way but we had heard that from the other people who quoted the job so we were prepared for that. Well, Joe took the time, did some research and found a way to give us the clean, seam free edge we wanted on our rounded counter top. Talk about going above and beyond. The clean up was very minor. The tile back splash only suffered one very minor nick that we could easily cover with a vase. We had a slight warranty issue and Joe was out immediately and resolved it 100%. I'm a girl of relatively high expectations and they were exceeded. Joe was calm, easy to deal with, very reassuring and funny. Eileen was great. The process from first appointment to the follow up warranty issue was flawless. They are totally focused on the customer experience with the added bonus of a high quality install. We had no issues at all. Their show room isn't extensive but we knew what we wanted and they were able to give us plenty of options. They have many slabs on site to look at it. I could go on... Fantastic! We LOVE our new counters.

Rodex installed quartz counters in our kitchen. Joe and his team did very high quality work at a super competitive price. Their customer service was amazing and Eileen was always available to answer our questions. I've recommended Rodex to my friends and they have been equally impressed.

Super happy with the service and quality of work with Rodex. Eileen is great to deal with and Joe does a great job. He makes sure you are happy with the quality and will correct any issues you may have. They have installed a granite counter top in one home for us and a quartz countertop in another we were renovating. We also had them come to our personal house to fill some pitting in our granite countertop (a bad job from another company we previously used). All three times, the work was great! Pricing is fair. Would highly recommend them.

This review is long overdue, but better late than never. We went to Rodex (Apr 2014) based on a recommendation from my brother-in-law who had used Rodex for a recent kitchen reno.

Anyways, we met with Eileen and discussed our plans. She was very knowledgeable and provided great suggestions. She understood our vision and provided samples for us to take home. She was able to source a kitchen sink for us as well.

Joe came to the house to do the measurements and provided suggestions on maximizing the counterspace. He has years of industry experience and it showed!

The install took a couple of hours and the crew was very professional (they even took their shoes off at the door).

You'll know right away that Rodex is honest and not looking to screw you around. They pride themselves on offering a great service, in which they did!

We're very happy with our countertops and would highly recommend them to our friends. You'd be hard pressed to find another company in town that's cheaper than them.
