Ed finished the ceilings on our main floor. He is a fabulous person to deal with. Very friendly and he does excellent work. His pricing is very fair which allowed us to do a little more like we had hoped to do. He always kept us up to date on how the job was going and even did little extras where needed. He answers messages and calls quickly. We will definitely be calling him again to do the ceilings upstairs. Thanks again, Ed.

AMAZING!! You don't need to look any further if you're interested in getting rid of your popcorn ceilings or making your walls straight & smooth.

Ed is simply a top class contractor - hardworking, honest, and pleasant to deal with. I'd recommend him every time over any of the other stucco crews. As a one-man operation his price was better than those other companies, while the duration of the job was the exact same. He even came in under the quote cost and finished a day ahead of schedule!

We had the popcorn ceilings removed and the walls smoothed-out in our living room, dining room, two hallways, and the main stairway. The ceilings & walls are absolutely fantastic now!.. long runs are crisp and straight, and the ceilings are extremely smooth. Ed was great at protecting our floors, fireplace, gumwood trim. He removed the plate rail as requested, and took time to reinforce & repair any plaster cracks, sags, or weak spots (almost the entire job had the original 90-year old lath & plaster under the texture).

The job itself is messy, and living through it we certainly tracked dust throughout the house - despite sealing off all the other doors. But a good vacuum and cleaning the next day took care of everything.

I bought our century home in 2013 which had certain 2005 "upgraded design elements" on the walls that included stucco and case trimmings. 2/3 of our wall and our kitchen ceiling was covered in a horrible stucco texture.

I called numerous drywall and taping companies for quotes and referrals. Ed (Skilled Taper) quickly responded to our call and agreed to come in and have a look at the job. After meeting him for 20 minutes, I gave him the job on the spot.

The job was completed in 3 days (as promised) where he worked - in one case - a 12 hour shift to get it done. He was personable, detail oriented, quick to respond to questions and did a fantastic job on some difficult walls. He also replaced some of the drywall/insulation where we suspected issues behind the walls.

Edward was fantastic. He did taping and plastering in our kitchen and we are extremely satisfied with his work. Ed performed a mudding and taping job for a basement project that I was working on. It was the type of job that would be hard to estimate due to the fact there were a lot of corners and overhead work. Ed tackled the job with no problem and was very respectful around my house. He only had to sand for about 4 hours after taping for 3 days. He cleaned up his mess and the work was done to my satisfaction. I will be hiring him again.

Ed was an amazing contractor to work with. He showed up on time from the day he gave us a quote to the day he finished the job. Ed was very accurate when he gave us a timeline for the work that had to be done in our house. Having Ed over was like having a friend come over to do work on your house. He was very easy to get along with. Ed pointed out work that was not completely done correctly and was more than helpful in assisting me correct it.
