If there were a one man show for stipple ceiling removal, it would be called The Jamie Show. Except for this programme, you need not be bringing popcorn - because he will be removing it - and flawlessly at that.

I thought a job as big as this would require a whole crew. At least that's what I've seen elsewhere. Perhaps this is why the work done is so meticulous - the master is also the apprentice, and there is no communication breakdown.

From day one Jamie's attention to detail, good work ethic and friendly charm set him up for a course of thorough stipple removal that lasted approximately three days. His prep work was exceptional, his communication throughout the entirety of the process clear, and the final product sublime. This is top of the line work from a gentleman who has honed his craft. Clean, fast and excellent work done by Jamie. Everything was covered and protected with plastic including the walls up to 3 in from the ceiling.. No dust, no big cleanup necessary after completion. The house now looks much bigger. Thank you Jamie.

Jamie got back to me within minutes to hear my job and to set a date a couple of days later to come and see the issue and give me an estimate. Another company only asked for photos instead of coming to give me the estimate. Their price was quite cheap but I think if they had come that price would have gone up when they saw the issue.

Jamie gave me 3 alternatives telling me which he thought would be the best solution and what would probably not make me happy.

Jamie was personable, sincere, honest and hardworking. He gave an approximate time he would arrive each day and texted ahead of his arrival. He made sure to correct anything that seemed not perfect in a timely fashion. He was finished on the day he said he would be.

Jamie covered my hardwood floors, put plastic all over the walls and door openings so the cleanup afterwards wasn't too onerous at all. I can't believe how smooth and line free the ceiling is. I didn't really WANT to go flat but it looks fantastic!

I hear Jamie also does painting so would recommend him to anyone for the stipple removal and I may try him for some painting as well in the future.

Jamie repaired a wall and ceiling that was opened to replace a plumbing stack. Jamie is very personable and takes pride in his work and this is evident in the finished product. The wall repair in particular required more plaster work than a simple dry wall patch and Jamie did an excellent job, He is neat, punctual and a professional tradesperson.
