We have inherited a family heirloom rug. I dont know how old it is but I remember it in my grandparent's home in the late 1950s. It was neede cleaning and a number of seams neede restitching. I found Joe online and the reviews were stellar so I decided to bring him the rug. He immediately knew where it was made and by which company. The job was completed ontime and I was pleased with the price of cleaning, repair and retassling. He is helpful, knowledgable and trustworthy. I heatily endorse Joe and his company.

In December we went to Persian Rug Specialist as a last chance to see if anything could be done to fix what used to be a beautiful deep wool Chinese carpet ruined when we had it cleaned in London England just before moving to Toronto. The cleaners used industrial strength chemicals and the blue background came back completely faded. When we arrived in Toronto we thought we had no hope but checked Homestars in case there might be a professional rug repairer. We spoke to Joe and he was very honest and gave us great comfort in explaining what he could try. He offered to die a tiny independent section that would not stand out and, if we liked that, could then die the entire blue background. The sample he did looked OK so we asked him to do his best. Yesterday we saw the final result and we were over joyed - Joe and his team returned the entire background to its rich blue colour and have saved our carpet! Thank you very much Joe, We are thrilled and intend to use your company for cleaning our carpet in future

Joe knows his rugs. Over the years I've collected older rugs and recently, a couple needed cleaning and some repairs. He did a good job on all of them. I'll be back!
