Over charged.
Toronto Hydro came and advised to replace defective main breaker for odd/part power. When called Mark at Burton Electric Inc., he didn't say need to pay service call or different from estimation.

Small job permit - $75

House has aluminum wiring, which has to be maintained for safety reasons. Mark is experienced and very professional. He explained all the work in detail. We're very happy with the results.

I searched and finally picked Burton Electrics after a visit from Mark Burton and we are glad we did. They were prompt and stuck to the estimated price. They were clean and courteous and did all the prep work, such as arranging shutdown times with Hydro, etc. Although the originally estimated time to completion was 4 to 6 hours, the entire time we were without power was only about two hours. We would recommend Burton to anyone looking for reliable and dependable electricians and will call them again should we need other electrical work done.

I contacted Mark at Burton Electrical because he was local and was on the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) site. His company installed a 40 amp breaker, ran wiring through my basement, out to my garage, installed a receptacle and mounted my electric car charger. They also arranged for an ESA inspection. Mark's recommendations were relevant and his associates were professional, knowledgable and respectful of my home. I would definitely recommend them. His paper work was detailed so that I could apply for the Ministry of Transportation 50% rebates.

Contracted Burton Electric to install panel upgrade from fuses to circuit breakers. Mark Burton took care of disconnecting/reconnecting power, all permits. Also, the area was cleaned after the installation. Would highly recommend this company for their excellent job at a reasonable price. Thank you Burton electric!

The panel upgrade from fuses to circuit breakers went without a hitch. The crew (Brian and Kyle) were right on time. Mark Burton took care of the electric company disconnecting and re-connecting the power, all permits and certificates. They fitted the new panel into the custom cabinet with no changes to the exterior and left the area spotless. A big thank you to Burton Electric.
