I had the pleasure of working with Scott twice in 2022. Because I was so impressed with the work that Scott and his crew did in my home earlier in the year, I asked him to return for a second, later, round. My home needed fairly extensive repairs to drywall, painting throughout (walls, ceilings, woodwork, and even the floor in one room), sanding and refinishing of hardwood floors, some electrical work, carpentry and plumbing. As before, the work was top-notch, and was undertaken with care, consideration, and extensive consultation. I cannot say enough about the quality of the work, Scott's exemplary business practices, his transparency, courtesy and professionalism. I have, with complete confidence, referred Scott to friends whose homes need updating.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with Scott on a substantial home renovation project, and we cannot express enough how impressed we were with his work. From the moment we met Scott, he was professional, patient, and very prompt with his communication. He listened to our vision and offered valuable suggestions to help bring it to life.

Throughout the renovation process, Scott was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was organized, efficient, and always made sure to keep us informed about the progress of the project. He truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction.

The real standout part of our experience was the incredible job he did on the various large-scale aspects of the renovation. The kitchen looks absolutely stunning, with high-quality finishes and thoughtful design elements. We were very particular about how we wanted our island and no matter how many times we had to go back and forth on blueprints and phone calls, Scott made it happen, exactly how we wanted it.

The flooring throughout the house is beautiful, and the feature wall in the living room really makes a statement. The custom shelves were stained to match the flooring as were the steps of the new staircase - its attention to details like this, that really make Scott great to work with. Scott has really high standards for his workmanship, and will go out of his way to make sure every detail meets or exceed his standard.

Beyond just the work being exceptional, Scott is the best to work with! We met with several contractors prior to signing the project with Scott. Scott was by far the most understanding, organized and creative problem solver out of all contractors we met. He was never overwhelmed by the scope of the project, and always had all aspects of it in control, making it a very stress-free renovation for us.

We are beyond pleased with the final result and cannot recommend Scott enough for anyone considering a home renovation project. He is a true professional and we feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with him. Thanks Scott - you are the best, and we are so happy and grateful to have worked with you!

We contracted Gala Renovations to redo our Master Bathroom and floors and stairs. Scott and his team were very professional, they showed up on time, and answered our questions. Gala Renovations did a great job walking us through our first ever home renovation. We needed someone who could help us increase the functionality of our main family bathroom without stripping away the vintage character. Scott and his team did a great job with this! I appreciated Scott's attention to detail and dedication to coming back to double check on finishings to ensure the bathroom was functional and beautiful. He provided great advice on how to best utilize our space, sourcing, and (best of all for me) helped narrow down choices to keep decision fatigue from setting in. We worked with Gala to renovate our kitchen, main bathroom and powder room. We also added some storage space. This included some wall demolition to increase the area for the kitchen. Scott and his team were professional, well organized and clean. The quality of their work is very good. When discussing the contract, and later during the process, they were always open to explaining the details of the work and the different options, so we could be sure we were making the right decisions. On the recommendation of a friend who was delighted with the results in his own home, I hired Scott and his team to make badly needed updates to my kitchen and bathroom. In many ways, I think this is a harder task than gutting and renovating from scratch: Scott had to deal with the quirks of a 110-year-old home (where no wall is straight), poorly installed features that were staying (in particular, my kitchen cupboards), and regrettable decisions taken by my much younger self. Scott was creative, resourceful, collaborative. and always kind His organizational skills astonished me - my home was a constant hive of activity, and of course his teams were working on other projects at the same time. The work was finished on time and within budget, and I'm extraordinarily pleased with the results: I know that what you can't see has been addressed as carefully as what you can. My kitchen and bathroom have greater structural integrity than they did before Scott's intervention, and they're beautiful. I've already hired Scott to do more work in my home later this year, a high recommendation indeed.
