Coverall Roofing

Only good things to say about Coverall! My flat roof was in terrible condition and hadn't been properly stripped in 50+ years (if ever). It was a massive job with lots of room to find hidden problems, but Mark took that into account when he quoted the job, and it came in on time and on budget. When I say on budget, I mean it didn't cost a dollar more than the estimate. Mark is professional, knowledgeable and responsive. His team are hardworking, efficient and kept my lawn and gardens protected during the 3 day job.
In addition to my flat roof, they replaced the shingles on the garage and covered porch, and replaced all the eaves and downspouts. No complaints, I've already recommended them.

Coverall was recommended by next door neighbours who had their roof done 5 years ago. Mark was responsive, offered what I thought was a very reasonable quote (much lower than two other quotes for comparable products/service), and was just a pleasant person to interact with. On the day of the roof replacement we were away and my father in law came to check in on the work. Mark's crew gave my FOL constant updates throughout the day as to status and what and why they were taking each step. Our neighbours reported excellent clean up. There were some "surprises" when the crew got to work (an issue with the chimney, birds nests, wood under the flat roof needing replacement). The additional cost for these fixes was so reasonable - and they really didn't have to be because at that point realistically they could have given us an expensive quote and we wouldn't have had much of a choice but to take it. I thought that was very classy. We are thrilled with the way our new roof looks and expect it will last a long time. Highly recommend Coverall.

I contacted 4 roofing companies and Coverall was the only one to get back to me. George call me promptly and showed up the next day for an estimate. When the time came for the installation his crew showed up, on time, and did an amazing job! They moved all my furniture and covered my deck and driveway. They even fixed our eavestroughs. After they completed the job they cleaned everything up. You would not know they had even been there. Completely satisfied with George and Coverall.

We had a great experience with coverall roofing and can easily recommend their services. We needed replacing a shingles roof, a flat roof and eaves/soffits. We asked a few companies for quotes and George from Coverall Roofing was by far the most professional- he came right away and took time to look around and understand our needs. He made a few suggestions that changed our project - for the better - and was very responsive with questions after he left. The price was fair and in line with other quotes. Once the time came to start the work the crew of 6 showed up on time - very professional and respectful of us and neighbors. The work was completed over a couple of days and it looks fantastic! We had an independent roof inspector take a look at the end work and he was extremely complementary- his words: “it’s really nice to see the work from someone that knows what they are doing!”. He didn’t have a single critique to the work. The roof inspector was happy with the final work and I was very happy too. I would recommend Coverall Roofing without concerns.

Let me start by saying I don’t often leave reviews but sometimes a company is so exceptional that I would be remiss not to post something. Coverall roofing, and specifically George, were outstanding. I had to find a roofing company remotely to help my parents (I live in another country) with their roof which was already leaking so a bit of an emergency situation. I looked up reviews and Coverall seemed to be a good bet. I did get another company to quote as well and both came in around the same price but George quoted better materials. The big difference though was George. His communication was excellent and he swung by within a couple of days to go look at my parents’ roof and take photos of it with his drone so that I could see the situation. We worked out a plan and with rains coming, George was able to schedule us within a week. On the day of, a team of six roofers showed up early in the morning and got right to work. George forwarded me photos during the day so that I could see the progress and the crew worked late into the evening to get the entire job done in one day. My parents said the crew were very pleasant and professional and that their cleanup was spotless. At the end of the day George forwarded me more photos of the finished product and it all truly looked great. My parents live in a Victorian house with a high, sloping roof so thanks to the drone we could see a lot of photos (pre, during, post) which would have been difficult to impossible to really see as a whole otherwise. Throughout the process George made it amazingly easy and painless. A rarity when comes to these type of jobs. I would recommend Coverall roofing whole heartedly. Thanks George! Absolutely fantastic!

I did quite a bit of research on roofing companies to do a full roof install with 4 skylights. I eventually settled on Coverall Roofing. I initially chose Coverall based on online reviews and my first impression of George. He was SUPER responsive, honest about the work required and not interested in overselling me on anything. I am so glad that I chose Coverall Roofing. George was always willing to take my calls and respond to my messages when I had questions about the work to be done. I was so impressed with the Coverall team. The workmanship was second to none. They were punctual, clean, hard working, precise, and just a great group. We used Coverall Roofing this past spring to replace our flat roof, and install cedar shingles on upper rear of our house. They were incredible! Mark was very responsive to emails and calls, always perfectly on time, and very organized. When they discovered that our flat roof was actually covering five tonnes of old roofs they worked until late into the evening clearing it all away and repairing the wood underneath. Mark took pictures of the whole process so we could see exactly what they were doing on the roof and the fixes they made. They were also really thorough on clean-up, which was amazing as we have young kids and dogs. The cedar shingles were installed beautifully and look great. We'll definitely have them over to replace our sloped roof when it needs to be replaced.

At first, finding a good roofing contractor to replace our shingle roof seemed to be a daunting task. I went on Homestars website, just to find that so many roofing companies are there even if you only look at those with high ratings. I decided to differentiate between them by reading the customer reviews, from which you could see how the customers were treated. After reading dozens of reviews I picked several companies and sent my request for estimates at the same time. Among them I had noticed that Coverall Roofing had got many reviews praising their work without reservation.

The first response I received was from George in Coverall Roofing, who called me at the first proper timing. On the day of his visit he sent me a text message before his arrival for his possible delay, while it turned out that he arrived almost right on time. George inspected the roof from the top and made the measurements quickly. He told me that I may not get the preferred shingle color due to the manufacturer's Covid response, and thus we would need to agree on a back-up color, but he said he would try his best to locate the color I wanted from his supplier. The other issue was when it could be done. As the existing shingles had become pretty bad, I hoped it could be done asap. Unlike some contractors who would say a short waiting time but might extend it on excuses such as weather, George answered this concern differently. He told me the most likely waiting time, and added a few contingency days to it to give me a firm completion timeframe. Having seen how he managed his schedule, I believed that this timeframe was reliable. After comparing the quotes, I signed George's offer, not because of the lowest price or highest rating, but mainly because of the best customer satisfaction (from the reviews and from my own experience). Right from the beginning of our communication, George had always been prompt, polite and considerate, so he had quickly built my trust in him.

One week after the contract was signed, George called me up, saying that they could schedule the job in the following week (much earlier than anticipated), which was another happy surprise (a few days ago he already told me he had found the shingles with the color I wanted)! On the job date, I could see that their team is very experienced, very hard-working, and very friendly. I watched them working and was convinced that our roof was in good hands. Cleaning up after the job was thorough and they did the best they could.

Now we have a beautiful new roof installed with complete peace of mind (CertainTeed shingles, backed up by Coverall Roofing's 10 year labour/workmanship warranty). We needed to replace 2 of our leaking skylights - they were over 20 years old! We were connected to Coverall as a Velux certified installer. Mark was very responsive, took extra care to order the best skylight sizes and the crew did a fantastic job. The communication was excellent throughout the whole process. The install was done carefully and our install was ahead of time and on budget. A very positive experience!
