After researching several companies on HomeStars, I contacted TLC due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I was not disappointed! From beginning to end, Chris was professional, knowledgeable, and patient. He explained every aspect of the project, listened to my ideas and made several visits to my home to go over samples and design ideas for the porch and garden. The landscaping has truly added a personalized touch to an otherwise "cookie cutter" suburb townhouse.

During consultations I never felt rushed or pressured. Chris and Kyle took great care in their work and it shows. They started work promptly in the morning and cleaned the job site every evening before leaving. I am very happy with the finished product and have received dozens of compliments. It was well worth every penny and the wait!

Chris completely remade our front yard, replacing worn-out shrubs and plants with a beautiful interlock pathway and stairs, and revamped planting space. It was a pleasure to work with Chris. He understood what we were looking for and created and executed a design that is perfect for our home. Chris patiently helped us choose the right stones, and when he discovered that one of the stones we picked didn’t look like the sample we’d seen, let us know, and advised us on choosing a replacement. What we ended up with is better than our original selection, and works beautifully with the project.
Chris and Kyle are a great team on-site as well. They both offered creative improvements to the design and the quality of their work is outstanding. The project came in ahead of schedule and right on budget. I have already wholeheartedly recommended them to a number of people who have seen the work and been impressed! Can’t wait to work with them on our next outdoor project!

We had Chris do our front walkway last year with the Thornbury stone in "Dessert Sand", which turned out better than we expected. My neighbor liked the stone so much that we had Chris and Kyle come back this year and connect our front walkways, and put a nice clean path down between our houses leading to our backyards. He finished the path off nicely with plants, and black cedar mulch on our side, and my neighbor just wanted crushed gravel on their side. We were both very happy and satisfied on the job. We will have TLC come back and do our entire backyard with in the next couple of years.

Did we ever hire the RIGHT guy!! Working with Chris (and Kyle!) was a great pleasure. He went beyond our expectations, by meeting us to pick out the materials and truly caring that we were very pleased with the work. We felt completely comfortable asking him questions and have no doubt he will stand behind the work and that it was done to an exceptional standard. Chris and Kyle are professionals. They are clean, organized, on time, and client oriented. Chris is all about what the customer wants, hearing what is the ask, and delivering with sound suggestions. My project was to create a Japanese themed patio including landscaping with plants. He made it happen. It many ways Chris is an artist and is able to see the big picture. I am doing my front yard with him next year. He is recommended without any hesitation.

Money well spent! Not only do I have a completed pathway and landscaping project that exceeded our expectation. Both Chris and Kyle were highly professional, prompt, neat and pleasant. I interviewed a few contractors over the years, and often found them to be pushy and limited in the scope of their plans. Chris gave me a plan, fresh ideas, worked with my budget and patiently educated me on the products and options. My daughter and I were completely at ease and felt at all times, Chris was honest and helpful. This was a great experience for my 21 year old daughter and I and it has raised our expectations when it comes to seeking contractors for home renovations.
