AC died last night during heat wave. Called Ashton at 730am and got a response at 8am with a tech scheduled for 12pm to 2pm. Tech showed up before 12pm and had the job done quick and effectively. Great job and great advice.

After calling six contractors in Durham Region that advertised 24-hr service on a Saturday, only Ashton replied within an hour or so. Only one of the other five called be back at all and they replied Monday morning at about 10AM. Bill set up an appointment for early next morning (fathers day), shown up promptly, had all the right tools and parts to quickly repair the gas leak and restore hot water for my tenants. Definitely the best in Durham Region, call them, they are ten out of ten. Thanks Bill :-)

After a frustrating week of trying to get an ecobee thermostat installed by Enercare (3 visits),and my A/C working, I contacted Ashton and had an appointment scheduled.
Bill arrived and had the problem identified and found cause to be improper wiring. He resolved the issue and had unit up and running. He also pointed out that there was a refrigerant leak and that I was low on Freon. All within 45 mins. Outstanding job.
Further to my dilemma, my a/c unit starting acting up. After 3 attempts by Enercare to resolve issue, a/c unit blew a hole in compressor. That finished me with Enercare, I immediately called Bill at Ashton heating and Cooling and arranged to have new unit installed. Also had him change out my furnace. Within 2 days they had units out and replaced in 5 hours. Cleaned up after themselves. Very professional. Recommend you contract with Ashton for your next furnace or A/c. Stay away from Enercare.

They responded to my call in a timely manner and were very accommodating in setting up a service call. We would not hesitate recommending them. Their customer service is great.

Fantastic company through and through totally professional I have absolutely no issues recommending to anyone in need of repairs or service. Our furnace went down late Sunday evening March 15 we're relatively new to the area and really did not know who to call. After encountering misleading Websites and firms that never called back I called Ashton who will in the future be our first call for all our Heating and Cooling issues from now on. Our personal thanks to Bill for handling all our needs including providing heaters and to James our on-site technician for getting us up and running again.

Exceptional, friendly, honest service. Repaired our furnace. Arrived within an hour, explained the issue clearly and got our ancient furnace back up and running shortly thereafter Had problems hiring other companies in the past. Recommend Ashton Heating and Cooling to everyone within earshot now..

On Christmas Eve I woke up to a very cold house so I called my local expert - Ashton Heating. Bill zoomed over incredibly fast to try and get my furnace started before my 50+ guests arrived for a Christmas party. After several attempts to get my old beast of a furnace going, it was unsuccessful - the furnace was pooched. Bill provided amazing heaters to help keep us warm until he could find a team of staff that would come in over the holidays to install a new furnace. Of course it was very difficult to find a crew at Xmas so Bill came with one other employee and did it himself, just so I would have heat for the holidays. I was so impressed with his determination to get things working, then installed so I could have heat. Ive been a home owner for over 30 years and had many different professionals come to fix stuff but Bill and team are top notch. Knowledgeable, reasonable and never wants to replace something that really doesn’t need replacing. I will never look elsewhere for any of my heating/air conditioner needs and neither should you - Ashton’s Heating is amazing.
