Found Shawn through Kijiji as sincereroofing.
Quoted a reasonable price in advance, arrived on time, was friendly, investigated the problem, explained what the problem was and how he was going to repair it, proceeded with the repair, and didn't upcharge.
I would definitely recommend Shawn again.

Shaw and the Boys and Blue came quicker (within 24 hours) to assess my leaking skylight than the other 2 companies I called. Not only this, he was the only repair company to suggest the leak was caused by some cracked roofing and not the skylight/flashing itself.

This diagnosis and repair was $1000+ less than the other options and actually treated the root cause.

Shawn arrived as scheduled and inspected our troughs and downspouts before cleaning them thoroughly and performing repairs as needed. He is a well spoken, courtesy and efficent professional and I was impressed with the work he completed and the time and manner in which he did so. I am a real estate professional working with RE/MAX. On Sunday night we observed trickling sound at night and found out roof leaking in the attic. I had used another roofer earlier and I texted him that night and told him about the problem. He never responded.

Very professional and trusted service that was provided. Sean came over and installed the roof and attic ventilation for a bathroom fan. He also fixed shingles on our roof. The price was very competitive and fair for the amount of time and work he put in. He took his time to check other issues we were having on the roof as well. Before leaving, Sean ensured everything was done perfectly. He was very attentive to the detail of the job he was doing. He tested the air flow and made adjustments several times to ensure the job was fully completed before leaving. He was in no rush to just "get the job done and go". He took pictures and guaranteed his work in writing. Sean was very courteous and clean while working. He took the time to explain everything in detail (which was wonderful not knowing much about roofing and ventilation). I would 100% recommend Sean/Boys in Blue and would use him again in the future. You will have no worries hiring this company!

My neighbor noticed some shingles missing from my roof and advised me of such. I called the principal of above noted company who quickly responded advising it would cost between $200-$250 which I agreed to over the phone. We made arrangements to meet in mid-fall and he advised he was going to get the shingles from a supplier and arrived promptly at our house. He surveyed the work and advised that it could be done for $200.00 and as part of the service he would look over any other shingles that may have loosened. He was able to finish within an hour to 1 1/4 hours after which I reviewed the work and it seemed satisfactory. He did leave the left over shingles and I was satisfied that the work appeared good. About a month later I was driving home I saw loose shingles on the roof. I called Sean right away to advise that I was having issues. He made an appointment to come by and check out the situation. He graciously went up to review the situation and was able to repair the work within 30 minutes. After he came down I asked what the damage ($) would be and he advised not to worry about it. I was thankful. We made a connection because he was also a graduate of York University Atkinson College in Marketing. We talked a little about real estate and our families, had a coffee and the completed work made me feel safer since there will hopefully not be any leaks. Sean advised one of the problems is that our roof/property back on to vacant land that has not been developed yet. Once development is completed we should see less problems. I do not have a problem recommending this company to my closest friends or family
