I had purchased a garage door opener and was looking for someone to install it for me. I contacted several companies through HomeStars and got a quick and friendly response from Steve, who offered to come by for a free estimate. I'm so glad we went with Maple Leaf Garage Doors, as our garage is quite small and when Steve came by to provide a quote he informed us that the garage door opener we had purchased wouldn't actually work in the space as-is. He clearly explained the situation and provided us with a few different options, including a way to retrofit the unit we had already purchased. I felt well-informed and never pressured or upsold in any way. In the end, we opted to return it and get a new factory direct option installed. Steve came by quickly and did a custom install in about an hour. Highly recommend.

After being burgled by someone who broke into my garage, I contacted two companies recommended by my neighbours. Steve from Maple Leaf not only gave me an immediate appointment, but took the trouble to explain to me three repair options and the cost of each. (As a senior, I am more used to being told what I need.) Steve did not try to upsell anything, which I really appreciated. I am extremely happy with the job he did.

I needed someone to fix my garage door as my motor burnt out. Over-sized very heavy wooden door. I called around and made some appointments and when Steve from Maple Leaf Garage Doors came to my house I choose him to do my job. Not only was he very honest and helpful, he did a fantastic job on my garage and told me if issues arise in the future to call him first to get some information and insight. Meaning not only did I receive installation, service, manufacturer warranty on new motor but I also received warranty from Steve. Steve was a delight to work with. He arrived on time for the estimate and arrived ahead of schedule when it was time to do the install. We are delighted with our new insulated garage door and the opener. It is super quiet and works like a charm. He went above and beyond. When he came the first time, we were having trouble getting the garage to go down. He knew the problem & fixed it so we had no problems while waiting for our new door. He knew we were non-technical so put the app on our phones. He even changed the lightbulb in our garage that suddenly burned out. He swept up the garage from his work so that it was as clean as before. He was very friendly and pleasant and we will be happy to recommend him to others.

I have had Maple Leaf Garage Doors service before (2016). Steve and his assistance came immediately. The charge was very very reasonable, as he had to replace parts. Actually, my mother and I expected the price to be double.
Now, August, 2019 after a power-outage in our neighbourhood, my garage door would not open/close again. I called Steve .... he answered promptly .. I requested a service call ... he stated that he could probably help me by telephone and save a service call. I was very surprised that he offered to help me.
I went into the garage, and he step-by-step, instructed me as to what to do. The problem was solved. Steve saved me the cost of a service call and repair. Steve was kind, courteous and extremely helpful. This is the second time we have used Maple Leaf Garage Door service and I highly recommend him.

I was very satisfied with the repair work on my garage door. When I originally called, Steve returned my call within 10 minutes. He gave me a 1 hour window that he would come to look at the door and showed up within that time. He was courteous and knowledgeable and the end price was exactly as quoted. Great experience!
