I contacted 6 different contractors - I chose Act Fast - Colm as he was knowledgeable, professional and did not push to sell his services. The price was the best out of the 6 and were able to do the work on the date I requested. Colm and Dominic came in and covered everything with drop sheets, prepped the area, made sure to cause as little disruption as possible. They cleaned up the area, no mess, everything done perfectly and by 5pm the job was finished. ActFast is great, professional and affordable - I would highly recommend them. Thanks Colm & Dominic!

My basement had a leak just before I was going to finish the basement so it was very important things were done right. Colm and his team are just first rate. Super honest, great communication and excellent service. We’ve been having water infiltration issues in the spring thaw with the rising ground water levels and needed a sump pump. I got several quotes from well reviewed contractors. Colm was the only person who offered not only a decent price, but also told me about things I thought I needed but that I could actually do without. He actually saved me money! His team was very efficient, polite and cleaned up after themselves.

Colm was a pleasure to work with. He was quick to look at the scope of work and give us a quote. He sealed our exterior wall and installed a window well and cover. Very quick and thoughtful . Our house was waterproofed before we bought it but there was a leak in the basement bathroom this summer. I was concreted the entire waterproofing would need to be redone . Act Fast Waterproofing was extremely professional . Came to our house , examined the issue , And said ‘if it were my house here is what I would do’. I never looked up . They came within a few days to complete the job and spent time explaining the principles of how they designed the waterproofing repair for our basement . They also put a protective strip outside . What I appreciated the most is that they did exactly what they would do and they were taking me through the journey along the way . They approached it as if we were family . This is so rare in this business. They also left everything so clean and also somehow managed to keep all the tiles intact in the basement so that it was easy to put them back after . Colm at Act Fast was one of the only companies to come out the day that I called instead of waiting a week for an appointment. Colm assesses the situation and provided the best recommendation for our circumstances. With estimate provided he proceeded to have necessary steps taken before beginning the job. He and his crew showed up early, were curious and professional the whole time (even dealing with disgruntled neighbor). The job was started and finished in 2 days and you’d never know they were here. Colm dealt with any and all issues that arose during the job professionally and assisted in the rebate application for the sump pump.
