ActFast Waterproofing comes highly recommended from the reviews on HomeStars, and for a good reason. Living in a older home in Toronto, we were concerned about the foundation and preventing water from damaging the foundation. After consulting with ActFast Waterproofing on the approaches we could take, we had Colm and his team excavate and regrade the front yard to effect proper drainage from the house. Colm showed up on time, was very courteous. and began his assessment right away. He provided a straight forward review of the scope of work that was required to ensure that water would drain properly. There was no pressure or up sell and he stuck to the work that was needed. Colm walked me through his approach and what was necessary (as to why). His work was professional and done on time, exceeding all of my expectations. At the end of the job, we were to sod the front lawn ourselves to finish the look. He insisted in helping us lay the sod to ensure that the work was completed and the grading was to our satisfaction. Very happy with the work and I feel very confident in having chosen Colm and ActFast Waterproofing. I will definitely call again should I need more work done in the future. Thanks Colm!

Waterproofing our Victorian semi in downtown Toronto posed some unique challenges, including rock-hard clay soil that required extra labour to expose the foundation wall. Firstly, I would like to thank Colm for his expert job in doing waterproofing in my basement. We had a crappy contractor initially who messed the job halfway and Colm was so professional to take over, did a detailed analysis and also charged reasonably to fix the water problem so brilliantly. Colm is the man for water problems in the basement and I would highly recommend him.

We had some water coming in in a corner of my very old basement after heavy rains. Colm came by quickly and discussed several options, all of which were reasonably priced for the work. We selected an approach and the work was done quickly and competently. After today's heavy rains I can confirm that the basement is now dry! I would not hesitate to use Act Fast again.
