Act Fast Waterproofing

I gave three projects for act fast to install sump pumps, they did a great job, keep up the good work !!!!

Colm started this job promptly and kept me apprised of each step that was involved as well as how long it would have take and when he would be back. He always stayed true to his word. He provided safety netting when needed and cleaned up the site after each step. He was honest , hard working, timely and completed the job without any delays. Colm went over and above the call of duty with a precision and eye towards all details. I could not have been more satisfied with his work and highly recommend him. And to top it off, Colm has a great sense of humor. He was a joy to be around without being in the least intrusive. This was the first time I had used Home Stars and was so glad I did!

On a waterproofing job that turned out to be a bit more logistically difficult than expected, Colm and Todd were professional, communicative, thorough, and great to work with. I appreciated Colm's expertise and evident commitment to doing the job right. Would certainly recommend!

Colm was amazing to deal with from start to finish. He has an honest and genuine approach to determining what needs to be done. He even lent me a couple of his tools after the job to let me fix something else after the job. Great guy, great company - would definitely recommend them.

Colm and his team mate were clean, quick and courteous. My job was completed within one day as promised and is looking great. I could not be more thankful to Colm and his team. After the big rains earlier in the year, we had a large amount of flooding. We had a various amount of things that had to fix since our house is from the 1890's. I had tried to contact a few contractors with no luck getting them to come so I ended hiring a fly by night contractor believing he would do what he said. Long story short, after starting every job and not finishing any of them and a month and a half later of excuses I had to hire someone else. Then desperate to get this done properly I came across Act Fast and I am glad I did.

Now very was stressed out since time was running out to get these things done before the rains start up again. Not only did Colm's team get back to me right away, they squeezed me in even working on a Saturday during a long weekend to finish the job in a good time. They took the time to go over what really needed to be done, how it would be done and as well anything I could do myself and how to do it myself to save on my budget. Getting the inside waterproofing system was great for us. I thought they would have to dig outside the house to really fix it but that was not the case. They were very respectful of my place since digging inside and kept everything as clean as they could. I appreciate that at every stage Colm got me to check it to make sure it was to my satisfaction and explained everything they did. They did end up adding a french drain beside the garage outside. I had tried to get the outside regraded properly but the fly by night contractor I hired did not grade the interlock properly so instead of ripping it all up again we were able to just add a french drain to help the flow to the back of the yard instead of going into the garage for a fraction of what it would have cost to have it all done again.

I could not recommend them enough. The job was done exceptionally well to what I can see. Will have the true test over the winter. The team was caring and respectful and worked very hard to make sure it was done right and in a good time as well as showing up on the time they said they would. They answered any questions I had very quickly as well. I have two parts of my basement and was only able to get the side we were having the issue done this year. I will for sure be having Colm and his team back next year to do the other side. Thanks for everything!

Digging up your basement is NOT a clean job but they left the job site neat and tidy. A rare and wonderful thing and much appreciated!
