I was looking to purchase an older home and called Vito from DSM Property Services for a home inspection. He came prepared with all his equipment and conducted a thermal inspection. That came in handy in one area of the home as it detected some missing insulation behind the walls. Vito spoke to me throughout the inspection, explaining his findings and offering recommendations. I am an aussie with no idea about living in this climate. i decided to buy a house in oakville in the middle of the snow snorm and wanted to ensure that i wouldnt have any problems! i checked the site for top ratings (the best rated doesnt come first?) and read the reviews and checked their credentials. Vito had the best and i now know why! i asked questions constantly - like can i take down this wall, how could i put in a dog door, what does this do and on and on. he answered every question and came up with some great solutions. he was able to accommodate me on short notice and was very personable! Arrived a few minutes early - perfect. had everything he needed, including a ladder and had to squeeze into tiny space to get pictures. everything in plain english too. even my agent was very impressed! i would recommend his service 100%. was even happy to answer questions after the inspection! and the report was great and included additional links and everything he had talked about. This is our first home inspection and it was a great experience. Vito did an amazing job and he was very thorough. We accompanied him for the whole inspection and he pointed out areas of concern and the steps that are needed to fix them. The home inspection report was e-mailed to me a few hours after the home inspection. I would highly recommend Vito to anyone who asks me for a good home inspector.

Vito was, in a word, fantastic. He was incredibly thorough, and showed great patience as he took time to completely explain what he was looking for as I accompanied him on the inspection of my home. I appreciated his straightforward and honest manner---there was no pressure to make a large number of unnecessary fixes, and for the problems that he DID find, he prioritized them for me and gave me detailed instructions on how to fix the problem, and I was delighted to learn that almost all of the needed repairs could be done by myself. The report that he presented to me at the conclusion of the inspection was extremely detailed, and due to its digital nature, it contained links to further information, which I found to be very helpful. As for Vito, himself: A+. He was friendly, patient, and easygoing---not at all what I expected, after the LAST home inspection I had done (with another company). He encouraged questions and wasn't at all annoyed when I asked for further explaination on any particular issue. I found his rate to be more than fair, and I would highly recommend him and DSM Property Services to anyone considering getting a home inspection done.

I was very happy with the service provided by DSM Property Services. I hired Vito for an infrared home inspection. He came on time, performed his inspection in a professional and thorough manner, and made sure to explain and answer questions we had. At the end of the day we received a detailed written report outlining all the findings including many pictures to make the report easier to understand. Vito was my house inspector for my newly purchased home in Richmond Hill. He was available on a Monday during long weekend which was very convenient for me. He was already at the house when I arrived. He went on the roof to inspect it. I followed him throughout the inspection and he answered all my questions. He also used thermal imagining equipment and explained the visuals has he inspected the house. My inspection report came the same day.
