We had the best moving experience with this company! They were on time, very polite, very professional and took care with all our belongings. Our move was done quickly and efficiently. All our contents were taken to our new condo, put together and places in the appropriate places with the remaining things taken to our storage locker where they did an excellent job packing everything in there. We would highly recommend them for all your moving needs and look forward to using them again.

A disappointing experience. I booked this company to move from one condo building to another less than 2 km away. The problems started before I booked them -- I tried twice to arrange for a quote on their website, and received no response. I called after a week of waiting and was told that they were "swamped" and so they hadn't gotten back to me. One of the business owners came into my home later that week to give a quote. His mask didn't cover his nose and it frequently slid off his face so that his mouth was exposed while he talked. This might have been a good opportunity to look elsewhere, but I was under time pressure. So I proceeded and gave a deposit. The quote, incidentally, was about double what I paid to move into the place 5 years previously, from 60 km away, with a different company; I don't know how competitive this quote was with others currently operating in the area.

I had to reserve a four-hour elevator booking at each building. They did not show up on time, and when I called the business owner to ask what was up he said he'd look into it, and I didn't hear back from him. About three hours after the scheduled time I got a call from the crew boss saying their truck had broken down and they were getting another one. They showed up 3.5 hours late and immediately took a lunch break; I had meanwhile arranged to extend my elevator time (thankfully nobody else in the building was moving that day). The crew boss walked into the building without putting on a mask, and had to be directly instructed before he did. He asked for full payment before beginning the job. I said I'd prefer to pay after the job was done. He said this was ok, and then he left the site and I didn't see him again. His crew started to work, and to their credit were very fast. However, I received a call from the concierge desk saying that one of the movers had urinated in the parking lot and one of the neighbours had complained. There was also a very visible scratch made on the door of the unit that nobody informed me of. I addressed these concerns with the business owner on the phone at the end of the move along with the hassle of starting so late, and he did not offer any compensation.

Everything got moved, and there was some minor damage to a piece of furniture but otherwise that part was fine. But the lateness, the behaviour, the door scratch, the difficulty making contact online, the price tag, and the lack of responsibility made this an unpleasant experience. I sought them out mainly because of their very strong reviews on this website, and I've been taught an important lesson that good reviews on a website are no substitute for doing your homework and shopping around.

We were disappointed with their service. We didn't have confidence in the person in charge. There was no responsibility of breaking our table lamp and told I should expect damage. No offer to replace. Items didn't make it from the old house to the new. Not prepared with floor protection and our new floors were scratched. If you use this company, be sure to follow the truck.

Hired them to carry a treadmill up to the second floor of my house. They were very responsive, turning around a very fast quote and prompt booking. They kept their word and arrived on time. Most importantly, the service was outstanding as the treadmill made it to its new location without issue and without incident. Above all else, they were a real pleasure to deal with. So glad I connected with them, and highly recommend them.

Recently I contacted Franco at Aleks Moving to assist us with a move from our Condo in Oakville to a new Condo in Burlington. As scheduled, Franco attended our home and provided a quote for the move that would take place on October 21, 2020. Aleks moving arrived on time on October 21 with Alex sr in charge of a group of movers. Efficiently, cautiously moved out all our furniture (some large heavy pieces) took apart our beds etc. In less than 2 hours the truck was loaded. At our new location the move in went smoothly and without any damage to furniture or any of our fragile stuff like stemware/China. We have used Aleks before and would not hesitate to use them again. WOW! By far the BEST moving experience we have ever had! Frank came to give us a quote, it was a flat rate, no BS and what we agreed upon never changed on the move day... no surprises! Marco and the crew showed up on time and worked like a well oiled machine. I have never seen a more efficient moving crew. There was atleast 6 strong young guys lifting everything and they never stopped or slacked off. They had my entire 3 bedroom house full of stuff (family of 4) loaded on the truck in less that 2.5 hours. They were funny, always joking around and made a stressful experience of a move so much less stressful for us. I highly recommend Aleks Moving! I would 110% use them again!
