We've been working on renovating our entire home this last year, and had left the laundry room to last. The contractor we used for our kitchen and bathroom wasn't available so I turned to HomeStars to find a reliable company.

I am BEYOND thrilled that we found and we able to work with Millard Bautista Design. Professional, thoughtful, diligent, focused, creative, very talented, solution-focused, and generous is just the beginning. I truly wish I'd come across them sooner!

We were able to review our project in a 3D drawing, which was really great to really understand proportions, etc. I think was stands Mike and Venecia apart for me, is in the manner they handled a change request I had. Once the valence above the window was installed, I just wasn't comfortable on the height of it, and felt it needed to be longer to work with the lighting fixture we had selected. Within a few days, a new valence arrived and was installed before I knew it, just like that.

I will be working with them again, no doubt about that, and, if you're reading this, you need to hire them too!

Venecia and Mike where thoroughly professional from start to finish. From the exact estimate of materials, arriving on the day they promised, and working diligently as a team - completing the project in an efficient and exacting manner.

We just completed a substantial renovation of our home, and we hired Millard Bautista Designs (MBD) to do the majority of our millwork including bathroom vanity, banquette seating, walk-in closet, window benches with built-in drawers, and a complex “wood cube” (eg. floor to ceiling wooden doors and wall paneling configuration in our hallway and kitchen). We are thrilled with everything they did for us. The craftsmanship is excellent, the product quality is great, and every piece looks beautiful!

Importantly, not only did the final pieces exceed our expectations, but Mike and Venecia were also an absolute pleasure to deal with; hands downs, they were the easiest people we worked with during our extensive project. They worked closely with us to figure out exactly what we wanted and truly cared about delivering finished products that would meet our high expectations. They were fairly priced, delivered on time, and were highly flexible and extremely responsive to our requests. I cannot say enough about them; we absolutely plan to use Mike and Venecia again for future work and would highly recommend them to others.

We found the team at Millard Bautista Designs very easy and pleasant to work with. Not only did Mike and Venecia capture what we had wanted and imagined for our 2015 Interior Design Show display booth, but they also responded promptly to our communications and demonstrated their professionalism and helpfulness. They assisted us with custom designing a backing consisting of wooden shelves, which are removable, and mounting components to showcase our architectural product samples. They also constructed a cabinet for the front and center part of our display booth. We are very impressed and happy with the overall display, and we will definitely not hesitate to recommend others to utilize their services.

Mike and Venecia rebuilt our deck to our complete satisfaction. We had our share of renovation projects since we moved into our house since almost 15 years ago, and it was hard to recommend any of the crews that contributed to different aspects, without always having to warn about some considerable shortcomings. Not until now. We would recommend this team to anyone who's interested in high quality work from what appears to us the best in the trade, with an emphasis on detail and proper, in-time execution. Not only did they overcome some important challenges during the design phase, but they also fulfil all commitments without rushing or delaying the delivery. Venecia's charm and proficiency in planning, managing subcontractors and tracking the progress combined with Mike's brilliant skills and refinement in design and execution are a unique combination for this wonderful team. Our kitchen was in great shape, but a little "off" with where/how the backsplash and cabinets ended in the middle of a wall.

We didn't want to redo the kitchen, but it needed a finishing touch and we wanted more storage. Millard Bautista Designs was responsive and willing to take on the job although it wasn't a full kitchen renovation at a good rate. They had exceptional attention to detail and considered things that my husband and I would not have. They shared ideas and the process vs just agreeing to do the work and that made us comfortable.

We knew we were in good hands, but the installation happened yesterday and it exceeded our expectations! They took their time and the pantry addition with open shelves matches our existing kitchen perfectly! It elevates our kitchen overall and we couldn't be happier!

Venecia and Mike were very easy to work with and competent. I arranged for them to create a bench for my den area and another bench, which would serve as a window seat. It's great to get exactly as you want and they were flexible in designing something that I wanted. The benches turned out great. I would highly recommend them.

An unusable antique heirloom bed was made into a beautiful dining bench and table. The Creativity and craftsmanship was outstanding. We love the company and the people who comprise it. Never had such good customer service and amazing quality of work.

I wanted to re-purpose an 18th century beautiful, carved, four poster bed into a seating bench for my dining area. I saw Millard Bautista's work on the Houzz website and contacted them. Millard Bautista designs created a beautiful 5 1/2 foot bench out of the headboard and carved legs of my old bed. They were highly responsive with estimates and e-mail inquiries, they came and picked up the bed pieces and talked through some design proposals with us in person. Mike and Venecia are a true pleasure to work with, they love serving their customers well. We have also asked them to create a custom table to go with our bench. They are artists with wood and their love for the craft of woodworking comes through in the finished product. We are thrilled that they took on our bench project and can't wait to work with them on our new table design. If you need custom wood working done, this is the team you want!
