Premium Paving

We hired Premium Paving to remove our single driveway and widen it to a double. I am not displeased with the service or workmanship however I am experiencing an issue with pitting and some of the gravel coming dislodged. It has only been one week since it was paved and I attempted on several occasions to have them come back and take a look. Angelo promised he would but to date he has not and is now not responding to my text messages.

Just want to thank Des and the crew for a job well done. I have a 4000 sq.ft circular drive in north Bowmanville in the Christmas light district.
The job they done far exceeded my expectations . First of all ;they made sure the base was perfect before paving and showed a lot of patience and expertise to get it right . Next the paving !! Its obvious they have a lot of experience and know how in what they are doing . I knew this would not be easy but they did such a great job . I could see that they did in anyway cheap out on the amount of asphalt used . The finished product was incredible and we could not be happier !!! I will be recommending them to everyone I know . Great price along with excellent workmanship !!!

These guys came recommended by a neighbor and a friend who both have airport runway looking driveways. Initially I was happy with this company. Made a deal for them to take away my cement stairs as well if I smashed them up beforehand. While ripping up the old asphalt they found that there was actually 4 layers of it and were not happy, I offered to pay more for the extra work, time and dump runs but was never taken up on my offer. Aprox 4 weeks later they came to pave. I was the first job of the day and they seemed to be rushing it as the weather forecast was not the best and they had other jobs to get to after mine. By the time they had finished the paving it actually looked good and I signed off on the job. That evening when I got home i noticed a deep footprint and thought back to what I had witnessed during the pave. One of the guys was walking around with the plywood slippers they wear and one of them wouldn't stay on so he went without using the small cement retaining wall for his foot without the plywood. The foot print was right beside the wall so obviously it was him. A couple phone calls and emails later a guy came with a torch and tamper to fix it. My wife parked her tiny car on the road for 2 weeks and my truck was out there for 3 weeks. The same week I started parking on the driveway I had to shuffle the vehicles while it was raining. Thats when I noticed all the damage and poor workmanship. Tire tracks from car, foot prints and the Amazon river from the walk behind tamper that clearly did not overlap each pass. A couple guys came out with a torch and a shovel to try to fix it and made it worse. I have been getting the run around ever since and now Angelo the owner has offered me a one time $150 credit to have my driveway sealed as he believes this will fix the problem!!! Have a look at the pictures!!!!! NOTHING will fix this garbage beside replacing it.

Initially we had great first impression when we met with them and a competitive quote, but things went down hill from there. At my first meeting I raised my concerns about the slope of my drive way toward my house. They assured me that they would regrade away from my home. When work was being done I raised my concerns again regarding grading and the height of the driveway being too close the bottom of my basement windows. But I was assured all was well. The driveway looked great and all was well until the first rain. Now I've had water coming into my basement, I've spoke to them over the phone and they've been evasive, and and now are just completely ignoring me.

I contacted a couple driveway Companies to get estimates on my very old, beaten up driveway. Premium Paving contacted me immediately, had someone come out the next day to provide me with a quote, and the pricing was right in my budget, so I booked it. They provided such a pleasurable experience and they guided me through the entire process from when they would excavate (which I found extremely interesting to watch) up until the paving which was completed today. They were extremely punctual, professional and I couldn't have asked for better experience. Angelo (owner of Premium Paving) personally came today to oversee the final job and advised that he added extra asphalt so the driveway would last longer. I would highly recommend Premium Paving to anyone who will listen :)

Angelo and his crew work very well together. Quick and efficient. I watched the job start to finish and Angelo is very dedicated to quality. Clean up was well done. I would definitely recommend Premium Paving.

Angelo and his crew just left our home. They did excellent work in a very timely manner. Their cleanup after the job was fabulous. The workmanship was perfect.
