Heeley Home Inspections

We hired Heeley Home Inspections about a year ago to inspect our new home. After the inspection we were very happy with the thoroughness of Mike’s inspection but I decided to wait before writing a review to see if it would stand up to the test of time. I’m here to report the inspection was very accurate. We still contact Mike today to ask for advice on reno projects and repairs. His responses are always very quick and informative. Awesome service.

Mike certainly lived up to the reviews on this site - he was professional, thorough, and really exceeded expectations. I am buying my first house, and in this case he was inspecting an older home (100+ years) for me. Mike inspected inside and out, with patience and an attention to detail that was extremely reassuring. He provided information while he was inspecting about what the faults he found could mean, which was really helpful for a first-time buyer like myself. Finally the report he provided (same day) was just as detailed and helpful as the inspection. The report provided additional information about house care and maintenance which was also very useful.

I would recommend Heeley Home Inspections to anyone buying a house. It says something when you walk away from an inspection raving about the inspection itself first and the house second.

We have gone through two home inspections with Mike and if we would need to go through more, he would be the person we would go to. Mike was not only extremely professional, but also very patient and clear while he was inspecting the homes so we could completely understand what he was doing, by listing all the points of concern. He also kept giving us suggestions on every detail he went through and how to address the little or big work that had to be done. At all times Mike communicated all information in very simple terms so my wife and I (who are not very savvy) could understand what was going on. Mike was a very thorough and detailed inspector who is always looking out for the best interest of the client. He went above and beyond to service my needs and I would recommend him without a doubt when buying a home.

A very good and affordable Home Inspector, especially for those doing this for the first time. Mike highlights all issues, big or small, and gives you an idea of the severity. The home we are buying is older and he made it very clear what our priorities should be after we move in. The report we received is detailed and the pictures he provides are very helpful. I would definitely hire Mike again.

Mike did a thorough job inspecting a home we were considering purchasing. I view his approach as a detective, identifying as many of the issues as he can while respecting the clients time. He identified a number of really interesting issues with his state of the art equipment and we felt very satisfied with the home inspection, so much so that we are now considering using his services for our own home to help us identify any issues we should solve!
