Mike was prompt, courteous, and best of all patient. He answered all of our questions and then some, and provided us with the confidence to make a reasonable offer on the home. As a first time home buyer purchasing a century home I was pretty nervous about what an inspection would turn up. I wanted to make sure the inspector I chose was thorough and detailed. Mike did an amazing job, and definitely helped make the decision to purchase my home easier. He explained problems he was seeing as he went through the inspection and made sure I understood what the potential issues could be. Mike was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. You want a home inspection to be incredibly thorough. His was. I have had several inspections, and his was the most thorough I've seen. You want the inspector to be able to clearly communicate with you. Mike translated all of the usual jargon and lingo into understandable terms, and attached potential costs to almost everything he talked about, which is so helpful. Finally, his report was in my inbox the next day by 10 am. You can't beat that.

Purchasing our 5th home my wife and I were not new to the home inspection process. After speaking with a few companies and being new to the area we decided to move forward with Heeley Home Inspections. Mike was very approachable from the beginning of the process open to questions and encouraged us to follow him into every room and area of the property to visually see exactly where, why, and what he was inspecting. His knowledge regarding the big fix items was excellent from plumbing , HVAC, windows, and electrical. I got Heeley Home Inspection's contact information from a fellow I work with and he was very impressed with how thorough the inspection was. This is the first time buying a house and having an inspection done on my own as a single woman. While I do know quite a bit about houses and maintenance, he was extremely thorough and I learned new things as well. He was very professional towards myself and my real estate agent who is also a woman. He explained everything in real terms and spoke to us as equals (this is huge even in this day and age). This is a huge purchase for me and I was left feeling at ease with this house. If I were to purchase another home someday, I would use Heeley Home Inspections again. Mike did a phenomenal job in inspecting a potential home for us. Before we had even arrived at the house for the inspection, he had already been there for half an hour inspecting the outside of the home very thoroughly. He took as many notes as he needed and took many pictures to later document as well. He took both my fiance and myself around the exterior upon arrival, and showed us exactly where the issues and potential issues were (he even climbed on top of the roof via a ladder he had brought). He was very very thorough during his inspection both inside and out, while also being very friendly, educational and helpful along the way. He answered every single question we had throughout the process, and even gave us insight as to what we should watch for in future houses. Mike sent us the home inspection report the following morning, and it was a 65 page report filled with pictures of the house, diagrams as to what it should look like, and how things should look when they're done correctly. He even provided an analysis as to when the items should be dealt with and how urgent they were. I would 100% recommend Heeley Home Inspections for anyone looking for a very detailed and thorough home inspection. He was fantastic!
