I was most impressed with the work of this company. Michael arived at the designated time, both for the assessment and work. His employees were professional and courteous. Each day, as they parged our 105 year old basement, they worked efficiently and cleaned up daily, ensuring that I had access to the washer/dryer if needed. They checked in daily to determine any specific needs that I may have. The work was completed in the specified time frame. I could not believe the walls ... they were smooth and looked brand new. After I finished the painting Michael returned to mount the shelves. All the work as outlined in the estimate was well executed. It was a pleasure to have this company work in our home.

Michael came highly recommended to me by a friend and did not disappoint. We compared a number of companies but it was Michael's straightforwardness, professionalism and knowledge that made us select him. Over the course of two weeks Mike and his team waterproofed both internally and externally two sides of our very leaky basement. We have not had a drip of water since. Michael and his team were punctual, friendly and right on budget. In fact, when some unexpected and unplanned obstacles arose they worked through them at no additional charge. We brought in Mike Scott to waterproof a very wet basement in a house we were listing. He dug up the walkway next to the wall and waterproofed and filled it up and relaid the cement. He and his team were very polite and efficient. The home owner was satisfied with the job and we sold the house.

The job was very well done. The quality of work and materials was first rate. The job started on time and was finished on time and on budget. Mike’s advice was excellent. The folks working on the job were very pleasant and courteous to both me and my neighbours. This company is one of the best I have dealt with in twenty years of renovations. Highly recommended.

From the moment I met Mike Scott to discuss our job requirement, ( replacing a 70 year old concrete driveway ) and received his quote the professionalism was very evident.
The quality of the equipment he used; laser level, excavator, bobcat and the tight area his crew had to work in spoke volumes regarding his

True to their word and his, M Scott and team showed up, did the work, came in on quote and did a few extra cement projects for no extra charge. They dug deep outside, waterproofed & sealed. Everything is dry-as-a-bone. Only complaint... he is too nice! When a neighbour ran into his brand new truck, then refused to pay for the damage she caused, he let it go and paid for it himself! He and his team did not deserve that. Great guys to work with.

Their specialist arrived, investigated the roof area, thoroughly cleaned away the clogged leaves which had accumulated in the eaves-troughs, and which had caused excess water from rain to accumulate, overflow and leak through ceiling. Leaking stopped immediately.

Staff also did a follow-up call a few months later to check the status and was advised that there was no further leaking.

We found the service efficient and the staff to be courteous.

Michael and his team dug out our basement, redid the plumbing and put in a beautiful polished concrete floor. They did it on schedule, handled the permits and sub-contractors and did an amazing job. His staff were courteous and timely each day which is a rarity with contractors. This sort of job is not something you want done poorly!

I had a very leaky basement that required external excavation along two sides of my house, cleaning, application of waterproofing materials, re-filling of soil and replacement of the sidewalk.
Mike gave an accurate assessment of my foundation waterproofing needs, offered a detailed quote, completed the project within the time estimated, provided a courteous and hard-working crew and despite removing and re-installing mountains of dirt, left my back yard in immaculate condition. Best of all, I have had no leaks in the basement since this work was done, in contrast to a very leaky situation beforehand. I would heartily recommend M Scott Home Improvements for this kind of work.
