Drainmasters Plumbing Services

I had Drainmasters come to my home last week. I have been struggling with a foul odor coming from the bathroom pipes. I was sure I would have to get major work done complete with a matching large invoice. The plumber from Drainmasters informed me that some of my plumbing itself was running “uphill” thus causing water to stay in the pipes and that is what was causing the odour.
The plumber gave me three options:
1- I could have the pipes re-routed for about $800.00 (which is still an option should I chose to spend the money).
2- Have him clean out the pipes manually, and have the same problem in a few months or…
3- Use an industrial strength product that I just put in the sink and tub drains to remove the old “gunk” that is causing the smell. The plumber gave me the name of the product as well as the name and address of the store where I could buy it. (Total cost, about $28.00).
Needless to say I opted for #3, and the smell is gone!
I was only charged a minimal charge for the service call to my home. How impressed was I? Drainmasters….YOU ROCK!

I had an emergency plumbing situation at my house on a Friday morning and had to work in the afternoon. I knew the problem was tree roots and the main sewer line needed be augured thanks to another company that pointed it out and yet did nothing. I had contacted roughly 7 other companies and they all said they couldn't help me out due to the access or they were booked solid for the day and couldn't make it out until Monday. By the time I called Drainmasters it was 1:30 p.m, and they said they could be at the house around 4 p.m. I was so happy when they called at 2 pm and said they would be there in 20 minutes. Steve showed up and quickly surveyed the situation and found alternate access and was able to help in me out and was out of my house before the time he was even supposed to get there. Throughout the whole scenario the staff were very friendly and I will be calling them again if something else happens (No offense to Drainmasters but I sure hope it doesn't happen again....) Thank you Tom and Steve :)

I was very happy with Drainmasters quote, service delivery and installation services. We had 3 visits through the process to accommodate other stages of the renovation. It was easy to book and the employees were professional and courteous of cleanliness and pets.

I was over charged for the service, I can't tell you how much because they will not give me a revised invoice. The owner himself suggested I use the old invoice to hand in to the management and said that I would "be a head" Meaning I would be dishonest and make money off the property management. The fact that their staff were dishonest on the invoice and then they suggested that I be dishonest makes this company look very shady. Not to mention that they didn't even fix the problem. The actual plumber left at one point to go to the store and left the "trainee" to deal with it. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will never use them in the future.

I have been dealing with Drainmasters Plumbing Services for over 4 years now. They service our 6 Calgary Area commercial restaurant/pubs. They are punctual, easy to schedule, jump to any emergency service call outs any time of the day/night, and are quite cost effective. Due to the preventative maintenance schedule that they manage, our emergency call outs have all but disappeared. I would recommend Drainmasters for your next required plumbing services, whether that be for residential/personal use or Commercial.
