Preparing for a kitchen renovation I received quotes from three different companies. Right from the onset Bob from Glacier appeared to be the most knowledgeable, confident in his team’s abilities and his pricing was very reasonable.
On the first day the crew arrived and got right to work. Doug, the site manager, ensured all of my questions were answered, kept everyone at a steady pace and ensured the crew had everything they needed to finish the job.
In the following days Gord and Pat finished the mudding and taping and proved themselves to be true masters at skimming over the painted knockdown to attain a perfect and beautiful flat surface in two coats.
In the end after a hard day of sanding ceilings and walls the guys cleaned everything up nicely. Doug then stopped in to do a last check and assured me if I found something I was not satisfied with they would come back.
These guys work extremely hard for their pay checks and their product is fantastic. I could not be happier and would not hesitate to recommend them. In fact they are coming back to fix an issue on my second floor ceiling when the first floor renovation is complete.
On a side note another company said it would take three coats to skim the ceiling and gave a much higher quote.
