Bob, Doug, Isaiah and Allan are a great drywall team that finishes a project through to completion producing a high level of quality. I am very impressed--the corners look great as do the closets. My 500 square feet of drywall took about 2 weeks to complete as they work in a number of other projects along with your own. I feel this is better than many other contractors out there.
While I give the fantastic work quality 5 stars (which is the main and most important goal), I rate the scheduling at 4 stars. There were a couple of instances where my project became delayed and times where I wasn't notified if one of the team wasn't coming. It makes it difficult to schedule other trades and or visitors to my home. I have heard many, many worse stories about irresponsible contractors so I believe it best to take the delays in stride as Glacier overall produces a good final product and the timeline is still mostly within reason.
Doug and Bob are covered by Workers Compensation--this is extremely important to me and it made me feel that should anything happen on site we would be covered for worker liability. This does make the quote price go up, but this is very reasonable--they have to pay high rates to be covered by WCB.
Probably the most impressive thing is that at the end of the job Doug spent a fair bit of time following up with me to see if I could offer suggestions for improvements. Hands down, there are very few contractors out there that would even pretend to care and my general sense is that Doug and the rest of the team actually do want to see their clients pleased--it was way more than a perfunctory follow-up. This group works diligently, long hours and good effort is put forth.
The bottom line is if you want to proceed with a drywall project, even a small one like mine, don't hesitate to hire Glacier. Finally, there is a group out there giving the rest of the industry a good name. They have all the t's crossed and i's dotted.

Bob and his team did an excellent job with drywalling our entire basement and applying knocked down ceiling texture. His crew was very respectful of our home and was also very meticulous in their work. I would highly recommend Glacier drywall to anyone looking to get any drywall work done!

Unlike the majority of other drywalling companies that I contacted in Calgary, Glacier actually came out to look at the project and provide an estimate. We decided to go with them, and the work was completed well and pretty much as scheduled. The fellows that worked on our garage were polite, hard-working, and skilled. At the end of this project, I couldn't be more happy with the results. The drywall and painting done by Bob's team looked absolutely incredible. They took great pride in their work, and I was continually updated with progress and asked for decisions when things came up (as they always do). They worked on budget, and were on time, which are two things that are very difficult to find in contractors.

Our family room was renovated including: removal of old 70's style dark panelling and the drywall underneath, and the old ceiling was scraped. The materials were then hauled away. They had masked off the room before any work began. When the work was all done, they cleaned up. After we did all the electrical work, they returned to install the new drywall and created a new knock-down ceiling. After all the work was done, they removed the old carpet and hauled it away. We now have a beautiful, bright family room with lovely walls. The ceiling is fantastic and the best one in our house. The workers were exceptional and listened very carefully to what our expectations were and went above and beyond with their care and effort to make us happy. We unequivocally recommend this company.

Glacier Drywall accommodated our schedule in every instance and worked around heavier pieces of furniture that we found difficult to move. Bob and his crew were always cheerful and worked efficiently to complete repairs to the damaged ceilings and walls in a very short time. The repair crew cleaned up after every work session and left work areas tidy. The repaired surfaces look great!
