Best Flat Roof

I needed to have two large decks re-roofed. I was very impressed with Oleg and his company. His quote was very reasonable and remained so even 'though a one day job turned into 2 days and extra work was needed because of unanticipated structural issues. Oleg was communicative throughout and discussed all changes to the project in detail. I would have no hesitation in recommending his company, and intend to use him in the new year for the main roof of my house.

A lot of trades are unreliable (don't communicate with clients, don't show up when scheduled, fail to deliver the service promised), but Best Flat Roof is the opposite. This is the second time I have worked with Oleg and Best Flat Roof (different houses). Highly recommend them.

Oleg's team came in at 7am flat, as expected. They were kind and hard working. They did a much better job that those who did it for the previous owner (see photos: notice the improved chimney flashing and transition from shingles to membrane). As well, they managed to insert some roof insulation, so we should save on heating and cooling. Many thanks!

Oleg did a great job with my flat roof and I am extremely happy that I went with him. He was extremely professional from the time he personally came to my house to do the quote until the completion of the project. His crew arrived around 7am and they had my old tar and gravel roof completely removed by 10am. The removal process is noisy, so be prepared for lots of banging. It was a ridiculously hot day, so it was incredible that they could complete the work wearing thick clothing and heavy work boots. Definitely be prepared by providing drinks for the crew. They completed the new 2-ply roof and edging/flashing by 5:30pm. They cleaned as they went, so they were all completely gone by 6pm. Amazing!

I don't normally write reviews but I feel I need to since I relied on reading them to find a company to replace my flat roof.
I called Oleg for a flat roof replacement quote and he came by the next day and inspected my roof. I decided to go with his company and I am very glad I did. He scheduled my new roof the next week and his guys showed up on time.

I was apprehensive has it in my roof fixed because I know how difficult the flat roof can be I had a number of quotes completed. I was uncomfortable with the two other quotes. One of which was sent to me by text while I was standing in front of the guy who never bothered to show me what kind of material he would be using. Oleg Showed me exactly what he would be using and what would be completed. The work was done to my liking the cleanup was great the guys were friendly and professional. I am extremely happy with the work that was done and I would highly recommend this company. They strive to ensure that they have met everything set out in the contract and that the customers left happy.

We moved into our home last summer and we knew that the flat roof was nearing end of life. I contacted four companies in the fall, including Best Flat Roof, and received a wide range of quotes, from 7K to over 14K. Being the first roof I have ever had replaced, I was surprised by the cost. Oleg and his company came in around 8K. Oleg responded very quickly and was professional and left me with a written quote based on an assessment he made in person, unlike at least one other company that assessed my roof using google maps.

We decided to save up over the winter and I contacted Oleg in March. I was relieved that the price did not change from the fall quote, which I had heard happen to people dealing with other companies. He provided me with references when asked and those references had positive experiences. We proceeded with the work and it was completed by Vitaly (project manager) and his crew in one day. There was some confusion around where the dump truck could be parked, but it was handled professionally, and ultimately turned out to be a nonissue. I also wish I had removed everything from our covered back deck that could be moved, which ended up covered in grime, but the guys cleaned up as best they could. 3-4 layers had to be removed from our roof and they found one piece of plywood that had to be replaced due to rot, we are very relieved that we didn't have any water damage. They also capped the chimney for us at a small extra charge. We also opted for the 2" insulation which added an additional cost to the job.

In summary, I am very pleased with the work and I would definitely hire them again. I found these reviews very helpful when choosing a company and I hope my review helps others!
