Westmount Heating

We went to Homestars to read reviews on companies that install air-conditioning systems because we've used this site before when we had renovations that needed to be done and were very happy with the renovation contractor we got from reading the reviews here. Since Westmount Heating got rave reviews and lots of them, I called them for an estimate. Laurenzo came, took a look at our house and suggested we get a heat pump since that was the simplest system for our needs. We knew that getting the A/C installation wasn't going to be cheap and from the reviews we'd read here online, we decided that the quote was a fair price and we'd go with Westmount without checking any other company out. We got a heat pump system with 3 wall units for the upstairs bedrooms and one for the downstairs great room. Laurenzo and his brother came and installed the A/C promptly and our units looked great on the walls. The system was quiet and efficient. We were very happy to be able to sleep in our own rooms when the weather got warm. What really is the measure of a company though, is what they do when things go wrong. A week after we got the A/C, it stopped working. Needless to say, we were not happy! We were worried that since everything was paid for, we may not get the service to get the A/C running again. But Laurenzo made the time to get things working again. After testing our unit, he discovered that we got a lemon & he quickly replaced that and worked hard to get our system working. He even gave my husband and I, each a bottle of spirits as an apology. Our A/C ran smoothly after that & we enjoyed cool summer nites sleeping in our own bedrooms this summer. I would not hesitate to recommend Laurenzo and his company to do work in your home. He takes great pride in his work and his customer service.

Our new house had very outdated hot water tank and furnace that needed replacement, and after contacting several contractors we knew Laurenzo and Mirch were the one! They are simply the best - very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Can't ask for more! Laurenzo and Mirch came to do the estimate on Saturday, and took us in pretty much right away in the following week on Tuesday. The replacement/installation (which was described by other contractors as "complicated and difficult") was completely quickly and seamlessly. The price was also very reasonable compared to the other estimates we received.

After the installation, we found that the installation damaged some electrical wires in the back wall and caused one of our rooms to have no power. We reached out to Westmount Heating about this and their response was excellent - they sent Mirch out pretty much right away, and fixed the wires! They even reimbursed the electrician cost that we had to pay for to identify the damage! We had our furnace losing power after the recent wind storm/power outage, reached out to Westmount and Laurenzo paid a visit the next day and fixed the issue right away.

We are so impressed and amazed by the quality of service, and so happy that we went with Westmount Heating! Highly recommended for any heating services related work - you won't regret :)

Laurenzo and his team are great! They're very professional and on time. They tried to book me in as early as they can even when they're very busy. I couldn't be happier working with Laurenzo and his team. He find the best solution for you. My house need extra work due to the furnace being very old and they need to find a way to extend it outside that's why the price is higher than normal but I got $800 rebate back from Fortis and Laurenzo also give $100 for the hot water tank cuz I got both hot water and furnace done at the same time. I trust him and his team completely! He care about his work and service he provided. Laurenzo is very nice and he would answer any questions you have. I would recommend Laurenzo and his team to my family and friends. I would used his work from now on.

Laurenzo and his brother were timely with their installation and recommended an appropriate unit for our home. Laurenzo came back to look at an issue with our gas fireplace potentially related to the install without hesitation. Would recommend.

Called Westmount heating and spoke with Kim she was extremely helpful and prompt with getting back to me answering my questions. The next day being Canada Day Laurenzo came and did an in home estimate. He was knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to get in me right away. Two days later Laurenzo and his brother Mirch came and installed my unit. They were on time and worked very hard and efficiently to get everything up and running. They took the time to explain everything and show me everything. This company is amazing and they are the type of people you want to deal with. Already passed their business information to my neighbours. I am now sitting in the cool house and all the kids are sound asleep. The price was good as well.

Laurenzo came and provided several options and answered all my questions before I made a decision on what to get. Once decided, Laurenzo and his brother did a fantastic job installing the heat pump, cleaning up, and explaining how it works. I waited a couple of weeks before posting this review in case something came up. Everything is working great and we are very happy with their service. They were both professional and personalable, and it felt like it was a couple of buddies doing the work. We would definitely recommend Westmount Heating to anyone that needs any kind of heating of cooling solution for their home.

Man what a blast having A/C is in this heatwave now!

The guys got me a tremendous deal on the brand new Lenox equipment and they did exactly everything they said they would do. The were fast, clean and polite.
If you don't get these guys to install your next system you are doing yourself a huge disservice.

I went with Westmount because they provided a quote that was competitive and the positive reviews on this website. I was looking for someone to do a good job installing my AC, but also someone that I can build a relationship with for all our future HVAC needs... I feel that I've found that with Lorenzo and Westmount Heating.

Lorenzo did a great job installing the AC unit, demonstrating a very good understanding of how the system works and how to install the system properly. He was very professional and provided that extra touch of caring about the job. I've called Lorenzo a few times since to discuss some things and he is very responsive and continues to act with great care. Really happy with the AC unit performance, esp lately with the heatwave and really happy with going with Westmount.

i needed help with my gas fireplace, and Mirch came highly recommended by my brother. They are the total customer service package, that go the extra mile to get the job done. Reliable, Courteous, Knowledgeable, Trustworthy and Honest. They reply to all queries, no matter how small. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We did quite a bit of research on Homestars and received 4 quotes from other contractors before we decided to hire Westmount.

Laurenzo knew exactly how to integrate the new furnace into the vision we had for our basement and even had some great suggestions to make it work better. Laurenzo and Mirch finished the job in 1.5 days and even gave us a break on the price when they pointed out that the water tank didn't need to be upgraded as well (something we were told by the previous 3 contractors). The work was top notch and the cleanup was impeccable we could not have been more pleased with the result.
