Aire One (Aire One) Heating & Cooling

We will definitely recommend AireOne to others the entire experience with PJ Band has been exceptional. Our AC had stopped working and the forecast was for some of the hottest weather of the summer coming over the next week. We decided to invite 4 or 5 companies in to quote on both the AC and the 28 year old furnace. We starting reading flyers to see the deals and went online to HomeStars to read some reviews. We obtained quotes from several companies.

Why we would recommend AireOne;

Was terrific in helping us understand and appreciate the different types and sizes of product available and what would be right for our house.
The price was lower than any of the other companies.
The quote was easy to read and to figure out our end cost before & after rebates.
His knowledge about the product line he sells and the time he gave us was much appreciated.
PJ's personality was great, he answered all of our questions and took the time to address all of our concerns.
PJ offered up a change in the quote when he discovered that we did not need the higher end unit we were originally going to sign-up for. He saved us $700.00, which also meant less money in his pocket.
2. Installation
The technicians installed the unit within days of our order
Payman & Albert were very courteous, clean and the installation went as expected.
They did great work and the 2 York products were installed quickly.
They came well prepared, took care to protect the property before they began work
Cleaned up and removed all of the garbage
Explained the systems in detail before leaving
3. Follow-up
PJ followed up the day after the install to ensure we had everything we needed.
PJ dropped by one more time to deliver a filter and a button for our light switch that had disappeared with the garbage.

2 weeks after the installation and everything is working well. I think it was a great decision to go with PJ and AireOne

We were in the market to replace our HVAC system and proceeded to get 3 quotes. One of these quotes was from Aire One. Our contact throughout the entire sales process was with Darren from the Markham office. His knowledge about the product line he sells and the time he gave us was much appreciated. He gave us his undivided attention whereas others would be interrupted by their cell phones. Darren's attention to detail, alleviated us from applying for rebates as he said that would be his responsibility and we are confident that he would be providing us those details when he receives them. The installation team of Mike and Mike showed up as scheduled and on time. This install team had glowing previous reviews and we weren't surprised what was said about them. They were not only professional but exemplary workers who knew exactly what needed to be done and completed the job within the day. We were very fortunate to have had Mike and Mike install our HVAC!

We bought a brand new A/C and furnace about 2 months ago from Aire One. Every time we turn them on, it makes more noise than the old one. The noise is there regardless of heating or cooling. I was told the fan must be adjusted from factory settings. I called the service department who gave me a window of 4 hours for the technician. I said that I can't leave work to come home in the middle of the afternoon. I asked for a smaller window. My logic- They didn't install it right; so come at a time convenient to me. I didn't pay thousands for this. Regardless of this, the technician comes when we are not home and leaves a note saying that he came and we weren't there. So it will cost us $55 for his visit!! Again, this is not a service call that should be charged to the customer because I believe this is left-over work from incorrect installation.
Also, just like the other customer from Mississauga mentioned, it takes almost all night for the A/C to cool from 81F to 75 F. Our 20 year old Air Conditioner was cooling way faster than this. How can they be selling a product like this and not admit, it is not good?
Not to mention the Service not being customer centric.
If this is not fixed fast and for free, I am going to BBB.

After obtaining several quotes over a 3 week period for a replacement of a 20 yr old furnace and 18 yr. old a/c unit, I finally decided to go with AirOne Heating & Cooling. The sales / technical consultant, PJ Band was very knowledgeable and patient as he explained all the options to us.
He offered a quality product that was within our budget and promised first rate workmanship on the install.
Both units were installed on the date promised and more importantly the workmanship of Mike & Mike were beyond my expectations. There were courteous, knowledgeable and the installation was a work of art. All sheet metal work, electrical wires, air boot, filter media, humidifier, outside a/c condenser unit and furnace was installed like they were going to show case the units. Unbelievable ! True masters at what they do.

We installed a brand new AC unit - Carrier in 2014 around March. By June we used it and it takes 6-8 hrs to lower temperature by 4C (from 29 – 25) according to the thermostat. We called for a technician but said that this was caused by the vents being partially closed, after opening all the vents, it still takes the same amount of time to cool the house. The next year 2015, the same thing happened and this time ice can be seen on the copper tubes, still inefficiently cooling the house which takes 6-8 hrs again overnight to drop the temperature by 4C. We called again for service and charged us for $148.00. The guy added coolant/Freon on a 1 year old AC, which shouldn't be happening on a unit this new (unbelievable).

This year, the same thing happened. We made an appointment to have someone look into the condesnser coils of the system.The same maintenance guy came back and added coolant/Freon , while stating that the coolant and freon levels were acceptable to begin with. The problem still persist that it still takes an unbelievably long time to cool the house, while charging me again for $148.00 and we objected paying as the root cause of the problems were not fixed at all. We told him that we booked for a coil check but the same guy said we have to book again for coil check (OMG!) and they will charge again for sure……
This is not my 1st time to install a brand new AC. My first house I bought I also installed a brand new carrier AC with a different company. For 4 years we lived there, we never had problems, no yearly maintenance to pay. The AC was cooling properly within 2 hrs and the house was even bigger.

I called Aire One for A quote & I spoke to PJ Brand who was great, answered all my questions and also educated me on what were my options and based on my needs and budget which one would make more sense. It is truly evident that this is a company who truly conducts business with the highest degree of professionalism. The installers were great as well, I would highly Recommend this team to anybody. I opted for the Carrier Dual Stage Furnace and AC - 16 SEERS one as my current AC was not operating. I installed it 3 weeks ago so still waiting for the rebate which PJ filled it for us. I will be dealing with Aire One for all my HVAC needs.

I WAS DESPERATE WHEN I CALLED THE AROUND MIDNIGHT ASKING FOR MY FAULTY AC REPAIR AND THEY RESPONDED PROMPTLY. THE TECH SEEMS QUITE COMFY OF WHAT HE DOES AND HAD IT FIXED SHORTLY.

First I must say the sub contractors that were hired to complete this job were fantastic.
Now the customer service is appalling and if you use this company please be aware you will not receive the government rebate owed to you. we have been waiting 8 months and after many calls and being ignored we have finally given up.
Let's just see how their customer service would be on a cold January night..

I called Aire One for A quote after they were recommended by my Brother. This was the third quote I got, yes it was the best price I got but more than that it was a level of professionalism that is rare to find, I spoke to PJ Brand who was great, answered all mine and my wife's questions, even when I had to make a small change with the order it was no problem. It is truly evident that this is a company who truly conducts business with the highest degree of professionalism. The installers Mike and Mike were great, I would highly Recommend this team to anybody. I opted for the Carrier Dual Stage Furnace and AC as my current furnace was not operating well at all. I will be dealing with Aire One for all my HVAC needs.

Joshua Helsdon was amazing. Great knowledge and customer service. His presentation and honesty sold me on signing for a/c.
In future when I need a new furnace he will be the one to turn to. I usually get 2-3 quotes but his incredible personality and knowledge had me look no further. kudos to a great young man.
