Mr Reno

After much frustration with our last contractor who did not meet our needs, we met Andrew Stitt, owner of Mr. Reno. He had given us the best first impression and the relationship grew from there. Andrew’s information and insight into design was fantastic. From the beginning to the end, we were delighted with the service, professionalism and especially the results! Thank you so much for our beautiful basement bar! We truly appreciate the quality and craftsmanship that went into every detail of the renovation. Andrew and his team have renovated and built our Flurries Footwear stores all across Canada. Whether we needed slight adjustments or a total overhaul of the space, Andrew worked with us to design a space that was uniquely ours, comfortable for our clients, and functional for our staff.
Before Mr. Reno became our go-to company for construction we had worked with several contractors in our Head Office and some of our stores. Since we began working with Andrew and the crew we have never even considered working with anyone else, Andrew understands what we want, what we need and the team always performs quickly, professionally and reasonably price. Andrew Stitt, and his team of concrete finishers arrived early, and on time on Monday morning to start the job. The contract stated that on day 1 of the job my existing 650 sq.ft. concrete floor would be ripped out and disposed of. The dirt was excavated and leveled to the appropriate depth. Steel mesh and rebar was placed throughout the basement before the floor was poured. On day 2 the concrete truck arrived and the floor was poured by mid-day just as the contract stated. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. The floor turned out beautifully, and i knew that it was properly done because Andrew showed me step-by-step how the job was coming along. Andrew and his crew were quick and efficient, and left my house and yard very clean. Andrew did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend his work.

Mr. Reno was referred to my by a friend and I am extremely happy with the quality of work that was done. I had a washroom put in my basement and it turned out beautiful! It's so nice that I want to send all my guests to the washroom in the basement instead of the one on the main floor. Mr.Reno exceeded my expectations with the quality of work, and the managment of the project. They started on time each day, and didn't bounce between jobs. It was encouraging to see that the owner was doing the work along with his employee's. When I had any questions Mr.Reno was always within reach asap. I will be using Mr.Reno again in the future, and have already recommended him to friends.

Mr.Reno was recommended to me by Fixer-on-the-roof. I needed someone to removed a 2nd story deck, replace rotted wood cladding from a sunroom with vinyl siding and finish all trim once the flatroof under the deck was replaced. I got 5 estimates and Andrew's quote was very reasonable, there were issues with completion dates due to adverse weather conditions but when the job was complete it was totally to my satisfaction. I would not only recommend this company but plan to use them again for several indoor projects over the next year. Thank you Andrew and staff.

Ok wow! My deck was a crumbly mess and Mr reno made it a beautiful sanctuary for me and hubby to go a relax! I found them through a friend who put this awesome cement floor in and said Mr reno did it! Andrew is an awe shucks kinda guy who is a pleasure to deal with. He even did some minor interior work for me gratis while on the job! Highly recommend these guys.

Soon after purchasing our first home – a 60-year-old 1.5 storey house – we decided to renovate the basement, add a bathroom and address some HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues. There were also some odds and ends that we inherited from the previous homeowner that needed to be fixed. We chose Mr. Reno after reviewing 9 contractor bids. Mr. Reno impressed us by submitting a reasonable bid and by being responsive to our ideas and concerns. We needed a contractor that could deliver a quality finish, while staying within budget.

Mr. Reno’s sub-trades were top-notch, too. Friendly, responsive to questions, and careful problem-solvers, they were exactly what we needed. Sub-contractors included an electrician, a plumber, and an HVAC technician. His connections proved especially useful when water got into the basement shortly after a heavy rainfall, after the demolition but before any new material went up. He was able to get us an excellent water-proofer who was able to start work on our house within 5 days.

I hired Andrew to completely renovate the basement of my house in the Beaches. The house is about 90 years old, which makes any basement renovation tricky. Not only that, but the previous owner has done some of his own "amateur" renos in the 60's, and likely without permits. There were definitely some issued that needed to be fixed.

Andrew and his team came in and waterproofed by basement, remedied the plumbing and structural issues, and installed a new bathroom, living room and office area, complete with cork floors, porcelain tile and new windows and doors.

Andrew was attentive and always answered my calls/texts or responded immediately. He and his team listened to what I wanted, and incorporated my ideas into the design drawings and construction process. The finished product looks great!

The added bonus that that Andrew's quote was very reasonable compared to others that I had received. I would definitely use Andrew for future work, and would highly recommend him.

I hired Mr. Reno to renovated my basement last year (2010) to an inlaw suite. They finished the basement with a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and livingroom. Mr. Reno completed the work from start to finish providing all trades needed, permits and drawings. The Mr. Reno crew is a friendly trustworthy company that I would highly recommend. My husband and I are very satisfied with the finished product and will continue to use this company for other projects.
