Our local spring cleanup was cancelled. 505-junk to the rescue. Team was prompt, efficient, and quick. Came earlier than expected, but called first to check. They removed 600 lbs of materials in less than 15 minutes. In the rain! They practiced Social distancing and over the phone payment was convenient.

Probably one of the best home service experiences - my email inquiry was answered within 15 minutes on a Sunday, then a time was arranged, received an email confirmation the day before, the crew called ahead & arrived early, and almost 500 lbs of junk was removed within 15 minutes. The annual spring clean up in our community was cancelled due to the pandemic. We accumulate items over the year, plus we did a bathroom reno and had a fair bit that we wanted to dispose of.
Went on-line and booked a pickup, had a confirmation call right away.
The crew arrived before their scheduled time, with a phone call to let me know they were on their way.
I received a weight ticket along with my invoice to confirm the disposal rate.

Quotes were accurate and during this time, they are generously giving back to their community by having pick-up fees removed (and only charging weight) to help while the city has cancelled Spring pick-up. No municipal annual garbage pick-up this year due to COVID 19. 505 Junk waived the pick-up fee and minimum requirement and only charged $.29 per pound. Convenient, fast and friendly service.

505 Junk saved my week! I had submitted my couch and matching wing back chair (in very good condition) to Habitat for Humanity to pick up. They emailed me a few days later (3 days prior to pick up) that they couldn't take furniture with printed patterns. Called 505, explained situation, they advised they could pick up and donate the furniture and would deduct $30 off my pick up. They arrived 3 days later (called 1/2 hour before arrival) and provided friendly, professional, efficient and knowledgeable pick up service!

I have used 505 Junk a few times now. They are consistently friendly, courteous and prompt, removing items efficiently and at a reasonable cost. I am also grateful that they will recycle and repurpose what they can. While I'm hoping I've gotten rid of most extraneous stuff from our household, I would choose them again if I had anything else!
