I can't say enough glowing things about Taras and his team. They are just putting the final touches on a full renovation of my home, and i have been impressed from day 1. The quality of the work and attention to detail are unparalleled, as are the professionalism and work ethic of each member of the team. My neighbours have come to me to tell me how impressed they are by what they see - a clean work site, very full workdays, team meetings on the porch to talk about project status, and to assign work. The things that give one comfort when living off-site. And of course, those who have done the tour, are in awe. Taras has an excellent eye for design, and has steered me away from poor choices more than once. He is at all times courteous, and prompt to respond to my calls. He has incredible integrity, is a great problem-solver, is extremely organized and is an absolute pleasure to work with. The result is a stunning home that i am so proud of.

I was having trouble finding a contractor to renovate our basement after the floods last year for close to the amount that the insurance offered. After getting some quotes that I wasn't too happy with, I remembered the work that Taras had done for me a few years ago on our upstairs bathroom and gave him a call. Very happy that I did.

It wasn't your typical renovation. They managed to save a lot of the old wood panelling that I loved and Taras had some interesting ideas on how to make the basement more fresh and vibrant. He explained thoroughly what needed to be done and gave me plenty of options to chose from, while still keeping to my budget.

Despite the soggy start to the spring and persistent rain Taras and his crew managed getting my rear addition off the ground quickly while maintaining a tidy and safe construction site. The project unfolded smoothly from phase to phase. They doubled the size of the house and now I have my dream kitchen and fabulous entertaining space! We heard positive comments from friends regarding Double T Contracting. When we were flooded out last year, we were forced to renovate our finished basement, including a downstairs bathroom. I asked Double T Contracting to quote on the work. I got some useful advice concerning the scope of the work that was required, the options, and recommendations regarding lighting choices and raised flooring. The price of the quote was very competitive. Once the job was started, the team was very professional and regularly went beyond the call of duty. We were very pleased with the final result, and the basement now looks better than it ever did before. We hired Taras and his team to renovate our kitchen and replace the hardwood flooring in our kitchen, dining and living rooms. It was a snap decision on our part to proceed with the work and Taras had some tight timelines to work with. He and his crew did a great job in meeting the timelines and in working with our designer in achieving a light, bright and more spacious feel for our kitchen. He was more than willing to offer advice on design and the way things should be implemented and we found his suggestions very helpful. His team was very respectful of the fact that we were living in the house while they were working in it and put in extra effort to keep the work areas clean at the end of their work day. We are extremely happy with the finished product and would absolutely use Taras and his team for any future work we do!

I call Taras an angel who came to me through my daughter,where she works and he shops Eventually she learned that he is a contractor.Music to her young ears.We had a few contractors quote the basement renovation,and it wasn't their price that didn't get them the job.it was their personality.When Taras came to look at the job,his personality,and down to earthiness won me over immediately.When he told me that he would take on the task of transforming our bare bones,cold and damp basement into the space that I have been dreaming of for 34 years,I could barely contain my excitement, but I had not known a price for the job as of yet. We used Double T Contracting about 7 years ago to renovate 2 bathrooms and were impressed by their work so when we decided to renovate our main floor and basement, we did not hesitate to contact them. Their work is impressive and they really pay attention to every detail. Our main floor and basement have been transformed and we couldn't be happier! We would strongly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of renovating their home! They are the best!

Taras and his crew were so professional, friendly, and did an excellent job on our new kitchen - we absolutley love it! We interviewed 4 contractors and picked Taras given his style and easy manner in answering our questions, plus excellent references and fair budget with top quality workmanship. They did a great job customizing our IKEA cabinet kitchen with great attention to detail, and they stayed on budget and on time. They completed our project in under 7 weeks including taking down a load bearing wall, putting a support post in the basement, doing the flooring on our entire main floor and giving us a design-show worthy kitchen! He had great ideas, and contacts for sourcing and really was a pleasure to work with. His crew is equally awesome. We are so glad we found them and hope to work with them again in the future.

I found Taras through the reviews in Homestars. He responded promptly, and found time within a few days to come to our home and view the project. In the end, he wasn't able to work for us, since we had a tight time line that he was unable to accommodate. However, he was honest with us about this, told us that we could easily manage the project ourselves, and gave us the names of the subcontractors he would have used. We have followed his advice, and have been very happy with the company he recommended. We'd definitely try him again for another project.
