Sean did two home inspections for me. his inspections were both very thorough and he saved me from buying a house that was just a big money pit of problems. I was very impressed with how well he explained things and how great his work was in general so I hired him for my second inspection as well . Well worth the expense. As a result of the inspection, the seller was required to hold back $1000 and we did not have to pay for the cost of correcting 13 items of concern - light bulbs, pilot light on fireplace, repair dishwasher, repair sink stopper operations, etc. Sean was thorough, and professional in his inspection. He offered some good advice on home maintenance as well. Sean is not connected to any realty company or mortgage broker, so we were assured of a totally objective inspection. And you can use his inspection to show prospective buyers if you have to sell. We have NO hesitation in recommending Sean for your inspection - do it - it's worth it!!

Sean came to inspect an older condo prior to my purchase. He was thorough and paid very specific attention to detail. We walked the entire garage looking for possible leaks. We went into the electrical room, although he stayed longer, the water pump area and even checked the roof. We checked all common areas for possible problems that could come up in the future as this is an older building. He spent a great deal of time in my specific condo and provided several suggestions that I will take in the process the the renovation after i take possession. I also had need to call him to ask other questions. I asked him to read the engineering report, actually beyond the scope of the service I paid for. I think he understood that I was making the decision to buy on my own and i felt he was sensitive to my concerns.

Sean obviously loves what he does. He is a young guy trying to do is best in this field to build his business. I highly recommend his services.

I've used Sean Moss several times now as I buy/sell real estate on a continuous basis. It's important that I have a "go-to" Home Inspector who is reliable, excellent at what he does, accommodating to my deadlines and needs, and is not just good at what he does - but is able to COMMUNICATE his findings in an easy to understand and practical way. Too often I have found other home inspectors often don't know how to relay the information and findings on a property in a way that the layperson can understand and moreover, really explain which issues are absolutely a big problem that need to be repaired right away versus other issues which are simply pre-cautionary/optional but recommended. Each person has their own standard for how proactive they want to be in repairing/maintaining their property - and nobody is as good at putting a "real world" perspective on what needs to be done, than Sean Moss.
That said... he is definitely thorough and has great attention to detail. He is also a younger guy than most of the home inspectors I've had - which means he is again, easier to communicate and relate to than some of the "old school" home inspectors who insist on "their way or the high way". Sean is flexible and accommodating and really understands CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I will continue using Sean for future projects and highly recommend him to anyone. Whether you're a first-time home buyer, or an experienced real estate investor... Sean Moss does quality work on-time, and on-budget.
