A1 Doors And Mouldings

We got our doors replaced recently and A1 doors were were told had good value for them. They were nice wooden doors but we asked them to deliver in the morning and they ended up showing up 5 hours late. They installed them fairly quickly however. Overall okay pricing and okay service.

The delivery service was terrible.The men were rude and nasty and frankly did not care as they said.We were told that it did not matter to them if we never bought from them again.The manager never followed up with our complaint.Having build many homes over the years we will never use them again.

This company has great prices and selection. Reasonable delivery charges. After comparing products to other companies, we chose A1. We have been very happy with their products. Staff are very helpful.

Cheap product but the quality of the product is acceptable
The front entry door we ordered was three panel fiberglass door. It was good door and installed by myself without any problems. the only thing I noticed later was the door didn't come with a doorsweep, so it left a big gap at bottom. But I got one at my next trip from them.

The second door was a single door with glass. the door was good and the glass were good. The only issue with this door was the plastic trim frame for the glass had some leftover green paint and looked like used material. I didn't check it when I pick it up.

We recently just built a new home, service was lacking, but the product looks amazing. There was a mix up when ordering one piece of moulding, which somehow cost us 1500 more.?

I recently got doors from A1 doors, but they were more pricey than expected. Their service was okay, and sales men sometimes did not pick up their phones. But the quality of the door was good. I dont know if i would get doors again but they are reliable.

It was a great experience shopping at this store. The salesperson was very informative and helped us pick the correct crown mouldings in relations to our room sizes. I would shop at this store again because I was not pressured in any way to make a purchase.

I bought 2 interior doors to replace my pocket sliding doors. My previous doors were just plain solid white and I wanted something a bit more "fancy", with glass and some design in the middle so that I can see through it. At A1 door's showroom in Surrey they have lots to choose from, and they have a lot of stock there so it's good to see it in person (as it looks different in a catalog). The sales was very helpful in describing how to replace the pocket door and what hardware I needed. And the price of the doors was cheaper than all other places.

While I was I also noticed that they had baseboards and crown moulding, so a few months later I purchased some crown molding, and these are ALOT cheaper than places like Rona or Home Depot.

This is a very professional store and they provide doors & mouldings to builders. If you look at a lot of new houses being built, after installing door frames they cover the doors with plastic sheet. You'll notice a lot of builders choose A1 by looking at those sheet coverings.

We were renovating our 50 year old house and decided to change all the doors to update the look. It took us a while to get a sales person to help us but when someone finally did. We managed to get all our doors for a reasonable cost. Also because our house is older, the standard doors needed to be resized and they said they would do this at no charge as long as we brought in the old doors so they could resize it correctly. Overall we were happy with the service.

A-1 has a better selection of crown mouldings than some of the big box stores that are out there. We wanted something more unique and were glad to have found it at A-1. Their staff was very friendly and helpful.
