I needed to have a counter cut to accommodate a new slide-in range. it was sitting in the middle of our kitchen, making it a crisis. he came right away and did it quickly and perfectly, and charged very little. punctuality, quality, price, timeliness, follow up. he was excellent on each of punctuality, quality, price, timeliness, and follow up.

I was upgrading my master bathroom and although I could much of the work on my own, tiling is a whole level of expertise. I searched homestars to find a tiller that could do a nice job for me. After looking through several ads I came across Tilestars. They had a great rating a lot of satisfied customers. Plus they won the homestars award which made me feel real comfortable putting the job in their hands. I sent out for a quote from three other tile companies and Dmitri was first to respond. I asked if he could come over and give me an estimate and he had no problems do that and quickly arranged an appointment. He showed up on time and on the date he said he would. He was very friendly and offered suggestions to help my project. Gave a few different price options if I wanted to add things I didn't even think about. I had removed the floor tiles myself and the cement floor underneath. When Dmitri came to do the job on the scheduled date he said I needed a subfloor and it would put him behind but it was no problem, he did the shower and offered to have a person come in and do the subfloor for me. I said I would do it myself and call him back when it was ready. I went away and then got very busy at work so about 5 days went by and Dmitri called me back to see if the floor was ready and when he could come in and finish the job for me. We scheduled that and he sent Vlad in to complete the tile portion. Vlad was a very friendly guy to and came in a knocked out the rest of the shower and floor in a few hours. It looked great. Dmitri came back on a Saturday which I thought was awesome and completed the grout. He gave the best service, the best price and I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family. I've called him back to do my main bathroom next month.

Due to a flood in our basement from the recent storm, and a baby on the way, we required a speedy tiling job. Dmitri and his team provided efficient and quality service. They were on time and Dmitri, the owner, made an appearance everyday even when he was not doing the work himself. He also helped us to get an excellent deal on the tiles. While not the cheapest, I would recommend Tilestars if you want a hassle-free experience and don't mind paying a bit more for that.

We hesitated to replace our sheet flooring with ceramic because of various problem areas in the kitchen. We now have a beautiful new floor thanks to the skill of Dimitri and his crew. All went well and on time with no issues. While not the most pleasant renovation in the home it was done as quickly and with as easily as I can imagine. We are delighted to have chosen them to do the work.

Our 19 year-old home was in need of updating, and we started with changing the flooring on the main floor. We chose an 18x36 porcelain tile and were fortunate enough to find Tilestars to do the job. Dmitri and his crew were consistently on time, on budget and respectful of our family and our home. Each day they took the time to make sure our home was cleaned up (wiping down kitchen counters, hosing down the garage). The quality of work is outstanding and I would not hesitate to recommend Tilestars to anyone who is interested in beautiful work and excellent customer service.

We moved into a 16 year old home mid-June 2013. We had our hardwood restrained prior to moving in and wanted to redo the tile as well to a 24x24" porcelain tile. We had two quotes provided to us by tile installers through referrals. Both contractors refused to remove the existing tile giving excuses about why they couldn't do it and one even said to choose a smaller tile because he was afraid to cut the tiles. Ultimately, neither would commit to the job. A colleague of my husband's recommended to use Homestars to find someone good to do the job. This is where we found Dimitri. He and his team were phenomenal. He came promptly to provide an estimate. He clearly and reasonably priced out each aspect of the project from renting a garbage bin, to removing the tile, to hiring professionals to disconnect existing appliances and plumbing, to install of new drypack, to materials and labour for install of the new tiles. He committed to the job and agreed to start the following week! He and his team worked professionally, quickly-completed kitchen, foyer and powder room in 4 days and skillfully-it looks perfect! They contained the mess as much as possible and cleaned up after each day, leaving the house in livable conditions despite the huge amount of work being done. After 2 weeks of job completion, we found a defective tile of which we could not remove some dull scratches. Dimitri actually returned and removed the defective tile completely and reinstalled a new one in its place at no extra cost! Everyone who visits compliments us on the amazing tile job. We highly recommend Tilestars for any tiling job and will definitely be calling them back for future renos.

Dmitri was easy to contact and kept in touch during the project. He was always on time and prepared. He gave us good suggestions for the project (how to lay the tiles, what colour grout to use). Dmitri and his crew worked together well to complete our laundry room. At the end of the day, they cleaned up after themselves. The end results are professional and we're very happy. We're already planning our next project with them.

Tilestars were absolute professionals from beginning to end. So many issues arose throughout my renovations -- particularly in the bathroom where the previous owners glued tiles to plywood using PL premium. Removing it was a nightmare, and I feared for the worst. Dmitri and his team worked tirelessly to remove everything without issue. They quickly gutted the remainder of the bathroom, attacked the kitchen backsplash, installed new cement board / drywall, and did am amazing job with the tiles. Dmitri even re-did a section of the backsplash that I wasn't completely happy with. I am so happy with the quality and workmanship. I contacted Dmitri based on the Homestar reviews below. We were finishing a basement bathroom project and had 24 x 24 tiles to lay on the floor . I was concerned about the large format tiles, the uneven subfloor and the trough drain system that we were using. Dmitri looked carefully at the job and made a few suggestions and provided a price. His price was very good and we hired him to install the floor tiles. It went flawlessly. His attention to detail was fantastic. We had not decided on the shower wall tiles at that point, because he did such a great job on the floor we asked Tilestars to install the wall tiles a few weeks later after deciding on what we wanted. Again, Dmitri and Sacha did a great job. The wall tiles were even larger then the floor tiles (36 x 18) and it took time and experience to install them correctly. We could not be happier with the results. They spent considerable time on the layout and cuts to ensure the best results. In the process, they respected our time by calling ahead and informing us of their ETA. They respected our house by going beyond with the cleanup and laying drop cloths to protect the hardwood and carpeting. It was a very professional job that looks amazing. Tilestars lives up to the reviews and feedback that they've received on this website. Dmitri and his team have worked hard for this reputation, it is well deserved. Thanks !
