Ls Kitchen Specialist

We recently went with LS Kitchens for our kitchen renovation and we could not be more pleased with the results. We found Lee and his team highly skilled, professional and pleasant to work with. He's a really nice guy! Having Lee manage, schedule and arrange the sub-contractors really took the stress out of our renovation. I can honestly say that we never felt any stress throughout the entire project. Lee is quite flexible. Mid-way through, we changed the design slightly resulting in some extra work and the team was able to accommodate. The project came in on time, on budget and our new kitchen is beautiful. Really, what more can you ask for? I highly recommend Lee Sanchez to anyone planning an IKEA kitchen.

Our downtown condo's galley kitchen was in desperate need of a complete overhaul - cabinets, floors, granite/quartzite countertops, sink, faucet, backsplash, new lighting, new electrical switches, removal of galley wall to make it completely open concept and new appliances. At first, the very thought of it was daunting until we got Lee's name from a colleague who had a friend who was very happy with Lee's work. We contacted him and within a month had an initial design meeting where listened, provided suggestions and said that he (and his team) would be able to do it all (excluding the countertop/sink/faucet). This was a great relief as trying to find separate contractors to all work together would be difficult to do. His pricing was very reasonable and the time frame for his portion of work was just under 10 days to complete it all. The countertop/sink/faucet contractor (Rio Stone) were great as well providing us with beautiful Superwhite quartzite countertop and island, sink and faucet at a reasonable price. The whole kitchen was complete in just over 3 weeks - excluding all the stuff being moved back. We love our new kitchen! Thanks so much Lee and crew...p.s. TAnthony the electrician was excellent with his ingenuity with the galley wall removal, placement of wall sconces, switches plus our monorail lights are beautiful. We highly recommend Lee for kitchen renovations and wish he would expand to do bathrooms too!

I had an old galley kitchen that was in severe need of an upgrade. I wanted a more open kitchen with new cabinetry, backsplash, floor tiles, and appliances. I opted to use IKEA in order to reduce costs with the cabinetry. With that in mind, I came across LS Kitchen using Homestars.

I have to say meeting Lee for the first time, I was a bit surprised at his laid back and rather soft spoken demeanor. This was not what I was used to with my previous contract work.

Lee however was quite firm about expressing certain ideas/concepts. At the same time, he was accommodating with specific requests that I was equally firm with. The exchange of ideas was quite free flowing, which made for a good creative design process. We even had to redesign the kitchen on the fly during the middle of the renovations due to some unexpected piping in the wall. After a brief discussion, a solution was agreed upon and the kitchen modified accordingly, with ease.

The renovation work itself was done in a timely and efficient manner. The quality met the standards I expected, at a price that I was equally happy with.

The only area of improvement I would recommend is some improved coordination/communiation with the subcontractors (eg plumbers, tilers). I think Lee was quite welcoming of the feedback I provided to him in regards to this, which is always a good sign.

Overall I am very happy with LS Kitchen Specialist's service and the end product/kitchen. If only IKEA could keep pace with the demand (another issue more appropriately directed to IKEA), and the whole renovation would have proceeded without a glitch.

The price below is without material costs of the tiles/backsplashes and appliances. I also reduced some of my costs by completing the cabinetry demolition and floor tile removal on my own.

Lee and his team are very pleasant to deal with. They were quick to response to our original request, came on time and got the job done quick. They provided some really helpful suggestions during the process and we're very happy with the end result. Thank you Lee!

I had hired Lee for my Kitchen project and he performed the below

1.He provided feedback with our kitchen design and provided useful custom design inputs
2.We had used his service for gutting the entire kitchen and waste removal
3.He completed the kitchen renovation on time as we had discussed.
4. With recent IKEA cabinets & parts stock shortage, Lee provided alternative solution to
complete the kitchen work on time
5. We had also used his service for backsplash & Hood installation. Both services were good
6. Lee as a carpenter knows his stuff and was very meticulous and particular how the end result would turn out
That being said he did not take any shorts but achieved the cabinet installation as per our design
and expectation
7. Lee's co-workers were on time and handled the job professionally.

I am glad that I hired Lee which resulted in great deal of satisfaction for me and my Wife!!

Lee knows IKEA cabinets. And how to modify and customize them when needed. He offered helpful suggestions in the design process and with the order of the cabinets ... without the doors. Several cabinets needed to be cut more shallow which was done well by him and his crew. He was also open to using different doors, provided to us by a local manufacturer, along with different hinges, and handled their installation expertly. It all looks great! We would highly recommend LS Kitchen Specialist, especially if you want to do something a bit different with those IKEA cabinets.

Lee is definitely the go to guy for IKEA kitchen installation. I highly recommend his consultation service. Lee provided many insightful suggestions. The installation was done professionally and on time. The plumbing service provided by Lee was also top notch.

The only disappointment was the black splash installation arranged by Lee. Mario, the tile guy, lacks the basic knowledge of the trade. Examples including uneven cut tiles, uneven leveling of tiles, and uneven spacing between tiles. Avoid Mario at all cost!!

Lee and his crew were outstanding in terms of efficiency, craftsmanship, cost, quality, and service. We had him design a kitchen that maximized our kitchen space. Most importantly, he introduced us to City Home Granite to compliment our cabinets with a Quartz countertop. We selected some beautiful tiles from Creekside and Lee had an excellent tiler who completed the flooring. Some contractors are hesitant to tackle condominium units because of restrictions, but Lee was very flexible and the unit was immaculate when he completed the project well on time. Unfortunately, Lee doesn't do bathrooms. We would hire him again if we took on another kitchen renovation.

My husband and I decided to redo our kitchen with Ikea. Ikea recommended a company to install. After examining their reviews, I decided to pass. The name Lee Sanchez kept coming up in the reviews as someone to use instead. I got in contact with Lee and I'm so happy I did. Lee came and did an assessment. He gave suggestions on how to make our kitchen as efficient as possible. When it came time to the actual work, he was efficient and did a wonderful job. He was even done a day early. His team was great and he gave good recommendations as to where to buy countertop and tile. I would recommend Lee to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen!

After deciding to go for IKEA kitchen, I was searching for good IKEA kitchen installers and found L.S Kitchen through Homestars. I am glad to have installed my kitchen through L S Kitchen after waiting for 2 months to get their availability. Lee & his team are experts in installing IKEA kitchen. The job took around 2.5 days. The team worked meticulously without wasting time and at the same time friendly & patiently answering my queries. The outcome is excellent and I am happy about it.

Couple of things I would recommend L S Kitchen to take care post installation:
1. Taking care to vacuum the saw dust inside cabinets after installation which was left out in couple of cabinets.
2. Taking care to segregate garbage and recycle stuff instead of dumping them into the 1 single container. I had to re-do the stuff.

I would loved to rate L S Kitchen 10/10 but would give 9/10 for the above two factors which I recommend them to take care.

I would surely recommend Lee & his team to my friends!!
