We had a mother raccoon and 6 babies in our attic. Jim and Chris removed them professionally and humanely. We were very satisfied with their timeliness, courtesy and professionalism. Jim returned our call immediately and arrived right on time. They blocked and repaired the area properly where the raccoon had entered the attic. Another pest control company had removed a raccoon from the same area about 5 years ago. Unfortunately, their repair was not done properly and it allowed entry in the same area. PPC Services did it right this time and we are confident that this will not happen again. We will definitely recommend this company to others. They were very pleasant, efficient, and fairly priced! Thanks for solving a worrisome problem.

After getting quotes from other companies TWICE as much. PPC was by far more in line with industry pricing. Jim was VERY helpful on the phone and were able to accommodate my busy schedule very well. Chris arrived and looked at the job needed and decided he didn't have enough material to do the job properly and asked if he could come back the next day. I had n problem with it and really wanted it done right the first time!! It also occurred to me that some other companies may have just tried to "make it work" with what they had on them at the time. I hate that! I don't want companies to keep coming back to deal with it or me trying to contact them. PPC did it right the first time and the squirrel hasn't been heard since!!

I have used PPC on three separate occasions. During the summer we had carpenter ants in the back deck - success...then there were wasps in our front porch inside the walls - success ... And now in the middle of winter - we have a mouse issue. (We have a large property and home so because we are repeat customers he gave us a break on the mice control). I have to say Jim is courteous, clean, arrives when he says he will, knowledgable and experienced and a pleasure to do business with. He respects our home and the people in it and answered all my questions. I will not hesitate to call PPC again in the future. Competitively priced - very quick to respond and fix the problem(s). I appreciate talking with Jim and not a phone call centre somewhere in china. Keep up the great work (I hope we don't need you too soon).

We called PPC Services to get a second opinion on an unwanted house guest (a raccoon). A previous company had taken a look and told us that we had mice, a raccoon, and a bat living in our attic. Chris showed up within hours of my phone call and let us know that we certainly did not have bat, potentially mice, and definitely a raccoon. The previous company had quoted us nearly $5000 to remove and proof the raccoon, mice, and bat.

Chris was a breath of fresh air with his open honest opinions about what we ACTUALLY needed to do. He didn't try to upsell us at all and was extremely reasonable. We decided that we would take a staged approached. First get rid fo the raccoon. And then determine if we actually had a mouse problem (it appeared that the previous owners had put poison in the attic to address a mice and squirrel issue, so we weren't sure if we currently had mice. We also had no evidence of mice within the house).

Chris immediately removed a squirrel carcus from the attic for no charge (the other company wanted nearly $300 to do that). In fact, he was stupified that the other company would just leave it there upon discovery.

Chris set up a trap to catch the raccoon on Friday evening and returned that night to remove him from the attic - even though he was out with his friends (his poor friend waited in the car while he tended to the raccoon). He then drove the raccoon to Stoney Creek so that he would never return to our house again. Chris also caged the roof vents so that they couldn't get back in that way (he didn't insist on this but since we had a raccoon get in that way in our old house, we felt it was necessary).

We then listened for a couple nights to determine if we currently had mice in the attic. We heard nothing so no additional steps were required.

All in all, we spent not even 15% of what the other company quoted us. It was a huge stress relief for our family and was dealt with quickly and professionally.

I can honestly say that this company is looking out for your best interests and is not trying to gauge you with unneccessary add-ons. It felt like we had a good friend helping us in our time of need and that we were his number 1 priority. And to top it off, Chris was exceptional with our 19 month old daughter, who kept following him around and calling him "man".

We will be highly recommending this company to anyone we know.

Excellent, friendly service, on time and within budget. Raccoons in the attic were gone in one day. Entry points in the gables were neatly sealed with heavy gauge screening. Would highly recommend their service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

When we realized we had a slight Ant problem we contacted Jim and he was at our house within 48hrs.

When he arrived he was professional, pleasant and answered all of our questions. He was extra careful with the chemicals he uses as he knew we have 3 young children in the house. The 1st and 2nd visits did not get rid of them (as he explained may happen) but the 3rd visit did the little buggers in!

Jim was true to his agreement honoring their 6 month warranty within 60 days. Amazing customer service!!

I recently purchased an income property in Hamilton that was full of mice and ants. PPC arranged to come in as soon as I was able to meet them. Jim was kind and courteous to my tenants and very knowledgeable. He also helped me out with a mouse situation I was having at my own home at no extra charge. What more can you ask for? Just before the really cold weather hit, a couple of battallions of bats invaded both the attic and basement of our old Edwardian duplex in Hamilton. Dodging them while sorting laundry wasn't as much fun as it sounds. Being new to Hamilton, we only had Homestars to rely on but since it worked so well for us in Toronto, we looked to it again for this problem. That's how we found PPC Services and its owner, Jim Petty, and associate Chris. They came first thing the next day and we set up a mutually agreeable time to stage the attack. Within hours, we were bat-free up and down, plus wired internally so that no more bat refugees could make it into our shelter. The next day, they took on the house's exterior at our request ... wiring and caulking any space (and there were many) that might give entry and that might not have been visible from the inside. Chris and Jim found a few entrances that squirrels had been using as well and wired them up too. None of this was easy; the outside of our house is uncomfortably high. I would certainly recommend Jim and PPC Services highly. They were quick, expert, and very efficient. From batty to batless in 2 days, and with a great guarantee for a no-charge and immediate visit to remedy anything they might have missed ... what more could we want?!
