Getting to the root of the problem

Toronto

Had an internal drain backing up and Rooter Man identified the problem; tree roots had invaded the old clay pipes servicing my new 60-year old house. It became a big job replacing them all but the team did a very good job, were conscientious and nice guys. Cost a lot but it turned into a big job and it was good work. Would have been nice if they could have replaced the interlock.

Replace sewage ejector with a new home owner supplied unit

Good communication, responsive and quality work. I am please with the diagnostic visit by Alex and install by Rob.

I would have given 10/10, but the price was a bit high considering the amount of time required to install the replacement unit versus the price paid. Owing to uncertainly of waste disposal in the city, the technician left the broken ejector behind, so I will need to deal with this.

Lastly, Rooter-Man added a $15 fuel surcharge on both visits. Since they said they have technicians working all over the city/GTA and charge a premium price for their services, this seems like a cash grab to me.

Whole house drain trap removed. Double Y & Backwater valve installed.

Older home with slow draining issues. Sometimes water backs up into the kitchen sink. Rooter Man was fast, easy to deal with and fixed the problem. Front yard had do be dug up to remove the old clay trap and upgrade it to a double Y with a back flow valve.

Water stop supply in driveway

The job of completing my water leak was done in good time and to my satisfaction. However, like all plumbing jobs, it was very expensive for what was done. This company was actually better priced than two other quotes. We are at the mercy of this trade. I can understand if you have a huge leak in the house or a sewage back up it might be worth it. I would use this company solely because of the attention by their staff.
