They moved us on New Year's day and the service was impeccable! They were friendly, fast and professional. I especially recommend Devonte. I will be using their services for all of my deliveries/moves and have already recommended them to family and friends.

Devonte and his helper (a gentleman whose name I've regrettably forgotten -- sorry, he did amazing work) showed up 15 minutes early, and immediately went to work surveying the job. Throughout the survey, several helpful suggestions were given on how to best move and package items.

The move was not pretty. Many large pieces of furniture and many more smaller heavy boxes had to be carried up stairs to the third floor of my new apartment, with no elevator. It was horrible, exhausting work, but Around Town not only completed the task without complaint, they did it in a ridiculously efficient amount of time -- WELL under their minimum number of hours when I was expecting them to have to go well over. They even offered to stay after the job and assist in arranging the furniture!

There was minor damage done to an old, rickety plywood desk I had (and was probably falling apart anyway), but nothing a couple of nails won't fix.

This job was set-up with only a couple of days' notice, but they were very flexible and accommodating to my somewhat limited schedule.

Their price wasn't the CHEAPEST quoted, but was MORE than fair for such quality work. Furthermore, and most importantly, there were absolutely ZERO hidden fees (like some moving companies have); what I was quoted on the phone was penny-for-penny what I was asked for upon satisfaction of the completed job.

In short, an all-around great service in punctuality, efficiency, and quality of work. Thanks Devonte and Around Town Moving -- rest assured, you'll get another call from me when I move next!

Devonte and his crew (Marvin and Craig) were very efficient. They had a late start (had to find a last minute replacement for a sick third mover)but gave us notice ahead of time; this actually worked to our favour since we were frantically boxing items the night before. I guess they didn't anticipate as many items as we had because the truck that they brought was unable to fit all our belongings in one trip. Despite that, Devonte and his team were able to fit 80% of our stuff on the first run. Six hours later, they had unloaded all our boxes and furniture in the proper rooms. They even asked if we wanted any of the heavier items like our dressers moved to a particular spot in their designated rooms. All in all, my husband and I would definitely use their services again.

iI called Around Town Movers and am I happy that I did. Devonte and his crew arrived on time. They assessed the project and packed up the truck quickly and efficiently. They protected my furniture and the rest of the huge amount of boxes I had. When they arrived at my destination the crew just put everything where it belonged. It was such a successful move that I have had in years.
I had a hide a bed couch that I tried to have some junk removal company get rid of the day before the junk guys couldn’t get it out of the house. Devonte and his crew I had it out on my front lawn in less then 5 minutes. That was fantastic! Thank you so much!

I had to get a large Item from Down town to Richmond Hill. The item was very large and heavy. I went to home stars for a solution. I called Around Town Moving for help. Devonte and his crew answered the call on the first ring. Devonte agreed to take on the item for moving. I found this company very professional displaying EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION thorough out the entire process. Devonte continually worked the phone keeping continually in touch with me from start to finish. Furthermore these guys got the job done within the same day. At approx. 3:00 pm that day over the phone I told Devonte that the traffic was building and that it would be difficult to get the item uptown that day and that perhaps he should wait until another day before rush hour, WE DO IT NOW!!! WE FEAR NO TRAFFIC!!! One hour later Devonte called again. "WE ARE ON ROUTE WITH YOUR ITEM" I felt very positive that I was in good hands and part of a TEAM getting the job done. We recently used this company for a move from a condo to a house and had a great experience. Devonte and his crew (Jamie and Craig) were very professional and extremely polite and friendly. We were happy to see 3 big strong men show up and knew we were in good hands.
Even though we were moving from a condo, we had very heavy furniture and A LOT of boxes and the crew were able to complete the move very efficiently. They ensured all furniture was wrapped and protected and also ensured they protected our carpets in our new home.
