Kevin and his crew were replacing a neighbour's roof and I went to ask the neighbour how happy he was. He was very convincing that Kevin was not only very competitive, but came recommended by a number of his friends. Kevin came to our home and provided a good estimate, but most importantly sensible and understandable advice. We hired him on the spot! I must say that his crew were hard working, respectful and diligent. They started promptly, worked hard under pretty awful conditions (50-70KMH winds)! They finished in two days. They tarped all my shrubs, our deck, cleaned and picked up and left our grounds as clean if not cleaner than before they started. I highly recommend Kevin and his entire Recoveryworx Roofing team. In a couple of days he will be replacing my eavestrough too. I feel that Kevin is more like a friend than a contractor. If you want to feel comfortable when making a major investment like this, he's your man!!

Update: Kevin arranged to have our eavestrough replaced after doing the roof. The crew he sent did a great job and the result improved the appearance of the overall job. The product and installation was superb and the two folks who did most of the work (Kevin helped) were polite and even designed a downspout to accommodate our rain barrel in summer and drainage for the winter season. Thanks again Kevin!

Josh and his crew of professionals had our old fencing down, removed and the new fencing up in less than 24 hours, this despite some big trees and vegetation they had to work around This Job completely exceeded my expectations, the fence is perfect and the installation crew was super to have around. When I met Kevin, he spent over an hour explaining what would be involved in reshingling my roof and arrived promptly the next morning. He and his crew worked in extreme conditions (temperatures of 28 deg.) to remove the shingles from my old roof, repaired the rotted patches of wood, installed many more vents than I had had, including ridge venting, and installed the new shingles in record time. It was an unusually challenging job, and I’m very pleased with the results.

Each day the crew put tarps around the house to catch falling debris, cleaned up the garbage, and blew the sawdust off my deck. They left my yard spotless.

Kevin and his crew were friendly, courteous, trustworthy, reliable, professional, committed to the job, and very pleasant to deal with. It was so easy to work with them!

Kevin met my next-door neighbours and thanked them for taking good care of me. That’s just the kind of guy he is, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for the best roofer in town!

Very pleased with the work of Kevin's excellent crew!. It was a bit of a challenge to coordinate our busy schedules, and we're very grateful Kevin fit our roof replacement in when it worked for me. He took the time to explain what we were getting, including the new ridge venting, and how it works. I feel he is a trustworthy, efficient, and a quality roofer. I might have been dissuaded by the lack of professional paperwork, and am very happy that Kevin's gregarious personality helped me look past that. We had hail damage on our roof and Kevin came out to look and give a quote for our insurance. He was very patient as we waited for insurance to sort themselves out. When it was sorted Kevin and his crew were very quick to fit the work into their schedule. They did a wonderful job on the Roof, they were quick, friendly, kept the yard amazingly clean throughout the job (not just at the end), and the work looks great. I couldn't be more pleased with Recoveryworx from start to finish. And the price was excellent as well.

Excellent work! Excellent crew! They brought everything they needed and took away all the debris, even using a magnet to check for dropped nails. I would recommend Recoveryworx to any person requiring to redo their shingles.

I can't say enough about Kevin and his crew. Kevin has a real passion for roofing and life in general. He came highly recommend by several people. After you meet him you will understand why. His crew was very professional. Not one flower was damaged in my gardens and no nails were left behind. The roof looks great. If I could give him a better rating than 10 I would.

Kevin explained the pros and cons of the different shingles. He met with me and the condo board several times to answer our questions.
The work was done on time, there was no extra charge for minor roof repairs. no damage to plants or shrubs, very clean job site. Kevin has a very good work crew, and he seems to treat them well.

I had a leak near the roof edge, and sagging eavestroughs that needed to be replaced. Kevin suggested fixing the eavestroughs first as they needed to be re-done and might fix the leak, then consider re-shingling later on or next year as they were starting to curl. The leak ended up being not just the eavestroughs, so I also had the roof re-finished right afterward -- all done within a week.
After getting the roof work done, and a short wait for another rainy day, there was no leak or dripping gutters in a moderate rain.

Kevin was happy to explain what he planned on doing, and why: remove the downspout draining into the sewer, trim the over-long roof deck hanging over the edge, re-do some vent flashing, add ice barrier, re-do the attic ventilation, use a slightly heftier shingle than the previously installed 3-tab shingles, and fix a bathroom vent with a torn duct pipe.
I was happy with the price, and didn't have to schedule the work months away into the future. Eavestroughs were done by a small team over the course of two days, and the roof was done by a larger team in less than a day. Our yard was cleaned up right after both the eavestroughs and the roof. Between tarps covering the area around the house, and the magnet sweeper, we haven't been finding nails.
