Rm Renovations

I was in the middle of a never ending “do it yourself” reno of my kitchen when I hired Rob to do the drywall. It was the best decision I made during the project. He responded to my phone call within the hour and within a week the job was well under way. Rob installed new drywall beside old drywall, patched numerous holes in the ceiling and old walls and fixed the pass through we had proudly cut out ourselves that was not even close to being level! It turned out amazing! The new and old walls are seamless. Rob’s work exceeded my expectations. He was professional, courteous, on time, on budget, and had great suggestions along the way. Not only did he clean up after himself he very kindly helped me clean up after a minor flood caused by my air conditioner! Rob checked in after the project was done to make sure I was satisfied with the result. I would highly recommend Rob and will definitely call him for my next project.

I hired Rob on short notice to complete a small job to address minor drywall repairs. He was punctional, very accomodating and thorough in his execution. He took the time to complete a high quality job. He also followed up after it was complete to ensure i was happy with the final product. I'd certainly use him again for additional work.

I sent an email to Rob’s Reno’s from the Homestar website along with emails to two other Drywall listings. I was in desperate need of someone to repair drywall that had not been installed correctly in our Master Bedroom. Rob contacted me within the hour & was the only one of the three who did. We immediately setup an appointment for him to price the ceiling drywall repairs and smoothing out the rough walls. Rob was on time, on budget & very professional. My ceiling drywall had been installed incorrectly. Rob offered two solutions, we chose the best one & he went to work. 4 days later my ceiling & walls looked great, he did an amazing job!

We hired Rob after quite an exhaustive search for a reliable and well priced drywaller to install about 200 square feet of drywall over our existing plaster wall. From the first contact I had with Rob, I found him to be very responsive, courteous and extremely knowledeable. Rob and his fantastic team finished the project on time, and made sure everything was left clean and vacuumed. The drywall is smooth as silk with no visible seams or gaps whatsoever (and I'm a pretty picky client I must say).

Rob and his crew did a fantastic job on my home theater room. Because the room was designed to be soundproofed, there were extra requirements above and beyond a typical drywall job. In particular a damping compound called Green Glue was used between two layers of drywall on both the walls and the ceiling. Rob had not used this product before but was able to quickly understand how to install it correctly and efficiently. The ceiling was hung on decoupled framing, and there were many other tiny details that needed to be done right to ensure a successful result. I appreciated Rob's attention to detail - he is definitely a bit of a perfectionist, and it shows in the final result. Thanks!

Rob did a great job on our basement starting with excellent design suggestions and finishing with a rec room that we love. He does high quality work and is proud of what he does.
