DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU ARE SURE!!!!!!!!

I called the guy for a temporary fix on my flat roof.
The guy did the job and told me he is really confident on the fix but there is no guarantee on a 20 years old roof. OK! I paid him immediately because I believed in his words for the fix. 2 days later, rain came and the roof is leaking badly. I called him again asking for a recheck on the roof. The guy promised me to come back but never showed up…tried everything to get a hold of him again but he is purposely neglecting my calls. A week later, I used a different phone to call him. Wow, he picked up the phone “miracle”! Again, I was asking him to come back to check up the leak and he said he can only do that if he charges me full price again. The funny thing is he said he is receiving 15 job orders per day and he is too busy to worry about my well being.
The end result…I paid for the service in full…my roof is still leaking………there is no follow up on customer service after you paid.
Honestly, I am really disappointed for choosing this company for the job. Firstly, this company is entirely a one-man army. Secondly, there will be no follow up service after you’ve paid. Thirdly, MY ROOF IS STILL LEAKING!

I had Malcolm repair all my asphalt roof end caps. He completed the job the same week. He was honest and did not try and upsell me on more work. I feel I got value for the job he did.

Our house has a 15 year old ceramic tile roof, with 2 skylights, which were beginning to leak. We contacted Malcom and, after his inspection, he thoroughly explained the problem and recommended a solution, which was to replace the leaking skylights with better quality ones, add 2 additional roof vents (to better ventilate and cool house) and carry out some routine roof maintenance, which would prolong the life of our roof for another 15 years. Malcom proved to be extremely skilled in all aspects of our roof requirements and was a pleasure to work with.

I had Malcolm do the job of replacing my roof and I could not have gotten a better and more professional job done. It still looks great after a number of years.

I was looking for someone who had lots of experience with tile roof repairs and came across Stormrider Roof Repairs, after reading reviews and looking at the website and it's images I decided to give Malcolm a call , I was impressed immediately, he was very helpful and passionate about his trade and started off by looking up our house on google maps and the satellite image of our roof from his computer. I told Malcolm that I was looking to have the skylight replaced due to age, and was interested in having attic vents installed and lead installed over the joints on the ridge caps. Malcolm came by the house a day or two later and climbed up on the roof to come up with his recommendations and give us an estimate, I knew he was the right person for the job and gave him the green light to proceed. Malcolm was always giving me updates on the process (weather is always a factor in his line of work) and he went above and beyond to give our roof a clean bill of health including sourcing some very hard to find discontinued roof tiles (he even made sure I had some for the future repairs!) I would highly recommend him and we are completely satisfied with all of his hard work and enjoyed meeting him.

Our roof was leaking water from all parts. Malcom did an awesome job. He is a real professional. After he replaced the skylights and chimney caps we did not have a single droplet of water. Our attic has never been that dry. Thanks a lot! I would recommend Malcom anytime if you have roof problems. This guy is literally the best tile roofer in Vancouver.

Malcom was awesome! I had a leaky roof and the water was coming through the shower. We have a metal roof and the location of the leak was very difficult to find. Malcolm explained what he was doing and how he was trying to find the leak. Unfortunately it took 3 tries - but he didn't charge me extra for return trips, he lived up to his word that he would find the hole and repair it for the price quoted. He was prompt, courteous, diligent, and very clever. I would most definitely call Malcolm for any future roof leaks and highly recommend him to anyone needing roof repairs.

We had a leaking skylight and called Malcolm to help determine the reason. Malcolm was able to come the same day, explain what was happening and ultimately repair our skylight in a very timely manner. Malcolm was friendly, polite and very knowledgeable. I would happily recommend his service.

We were surprised to find our skylight leaking after coming back from vacation! I contacted Malcolm who came to inspect it and suggest the best way forward - by replacing the skylight and I agreed. He tarped the skylight so no further leaking would occur. It rained the entire week and one day, my skylight started leaking again due to the tarp got moved by wind and Malcolm came again to resolve the tarp. Im thankful for that.

Regarding the skylight, he was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do. My skylight was a true pain since it was nailed to the frame and drywalled inside the house. To make matters worst, it was also glued to the frame. Malcolm worked against all these obstacles and replaced my skylight with no issues. Im happy with his workmanship and would recommend him.
