Dwayne and his crew were professional , experienced, punctual and reliable. Nathan the onsite manager was outstanding in his work. The entire crew was here everyday at 8:00 until 5:00. They took care of our home like their own (ie. laying down protectors for the hardwood flooring on the main floor, mopping daily and even mopping the powder room on a couple of occasions). The company is meticulous with detail, available to answer questions, customer oriented. The entire renovation was completed on the agreed upon time of the contract.

Both of our experiences with Master Edge Homes have been totally satisfactory. We would not even consider hiring another company to do our renovations. Dwayne Butler and his company completed a successful and highly satisfactory basement renovation for us several years ago, and we knew just who to call when it was time to do our second floor bathrooms. When Dwayne met with us, we could tell that he is sincerely interested in giving his clients exactly what they want. The plans are detailed, and the budget is completely laid out, so there are no hidden costs. His crew is professional, pleasant and competent. Dwayne is very accessible and ready to address any concerns. Matt, the foreman we were so lucky to have for both renovations, is extremely tidy – the job site is always as clean as possible at the end of the day. At the end of the job, any small details are addressed immediately – no waiting for the job to be finished up. In two more years, we expect to renovate part of our main floor, and there is no question that we will be hiring Dwayne and his crew again.

When our house began to burst at the seams we looked at adding on an addition. We went with a highly recognized architect, Darren Sanger Smith of Structured Creations who designed our home around what we liked and desired. He took what we were about and made a house resembling that.

Once the drawings were prepared, we started the process of looking for a contractor. Having heard all the horror stories of renovations, our architect suggested we look at a website called http://bildgta.ca/ where we found Dwayne Butler.

Dwayne Butler was very quick to respond and began the process of pricing our job. After the initial meeting we felt Dwayne was trustworthy and really knew what he was talking about. He listened to our needs and made suggestions to what would be done. Before choosing Dwayne we looked at his work and talked to his references which made us confident in our decision. Even before meeting Dwayne, we took a look at his website and after seeing the work he had done we had a notion that the work resembled exactly what we desired to have done with our renovation.

This intuition became reality 9 months later. Dwayne Butler renovated our 1950’s brick house by adding an addition, building a garage and completely redoing everything in our house from top to bottom. He took our plans and made them a true reality of what we wanted. Dwayne Butler Contracting worked diligently to complete our project and delivered everything in a timely & professional manner. Never once did we have to worry about whether things he promised would be done. Dwayne was honest and if there were any implications Dwayne had few different alternatives to solve such issues. Dwayne clearly stated on his contract to us the work he would do, and the price that the job would cost. In custom work we expected a high standard of workmanship but in the case of Dwayne Butler the outcome was a distinctive home for us that is unique, gorgeous and totally ours. Dwayne Butler sets a high bar for the people who work with him. He expects excellence and they achieve it. One of the core values that Dwayne instills on his team is courtesy and respect for the client.

Dwayne is a very knowledgeable person who knows companies for products and gave us exactly what we wanted. As anyone who has gone through a renovation knows it is a journey but Dwayne made it enjoyable and fun. To this date, everyone who has visited our home has applauded the “fine workmanship.” Dwayne felt like one of the family and still to this day is someone we can trust and refer as a reliable and trustworthy contractor. Dwayne Butler exceeded our expectations and made our dreams come true.

When we purchased our home, the selling agent kept talking up the "finished basement". We knew it had to go just based on the layout (e.g., tiny shower in the laundry room, no windows, half bath crammed under the stairs). When we discovered mold and dangerous electrical work, we knew it had to go even sooner.

We interviewed a few contractors who were recommended to us by friends. We called Dwayne on a whim after seeing his sign in a neighbor's yard. Were we impressed! His price quote was in line with the others, but his service put him over the edge. He explained his quote in person and gave us tips along the way.

Of course there were pot holes along the way when completing the project ... no construction project ever goes exactly as planned. Dwayne always handled the snags professionally and timely. Watching the progression of this project has restored my faith in the construction industry. I would highly recommend Dwayne, if you want to get the job done right. Dwayne has restored our faith in contractors. Like all major projects, there were a few blips along the way, but Dwayne tackled each challenge flawlessly. He gave us different options. He educated us. He was respectful. He accomodated our busy schedules, took the time to answer his phone and respond to our emails.
Dwayne and his crew delivered on their promise of 100% satisfaction. We're not related or close personal friends of Dwayne. The perfect score we're giving him is truly well deserved.
