A & M Masonry

The interior of my basement started flooding after the first heavy rainfall in May 2014. I called A&A Masonry. Dominic responded right away to an email I sent late at night and advised me that he will be in the next day. Following which he recommended installing a sump pump, the work was carried out within weeks of my call by Dominic and Callum. I am very impressed with the excellent customer service and attention to resolving my basement waterproofing issues. After sales and installation care is fantastic. All I need to do is advise Dominic or Andy of any issues and they are very responsive. Thank you Dominic for the work you have carried out in my home.

All of the employees of A & A Masonry were punctual and very respectful of our requests. Dominic was especially helpful. He openly communicated with us and the quality of his work was excellent. I highly recommend A & A Masonry for your masonry needs.

I have never written a review in my life. But today Friday June 14, 2013 I have been so impressed with James and his crew that I have decided to write this review: James and his crew were very professional, on time and did a first-rate job repairing our chimney. I have asked to do some extra jobs and they did it diligently without paying extra:). Everything was clean and tidy after they left. Thanks again James!

I found A&A through Homestars and was very pleased with their recent rebuild of my chimney. All of the staff that I interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful and even a neighbour remarked how nice they were. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work on their chimney.

We decided after a number of bad contractor experiences we would be our own contractors for our 3 story home addition including the basement as well as a retaining wall. It was the biggest part of the project and we interviewed quite a few masonry companies before we chose A and A Masonry. The initial salesperson who came to meet with us, Brad, was extremely knowledgable and friendly. As far as expense went, their quote was fair and Brad was willing to work within our stict budget and timelines (it had to be done over a few months in the spring and summer). The work began in April, with Domenic taking the lead, and we could not be happier with him and the team of guys from A and A (Robbie, Kosta, etc.). They were hard workers, coming everyday and working hard all day. Domenic and the crew were very skillful, polite, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure we knew what was going on - real gentlemen. Anytime a problem cropped up, as they often do in construction, Domenic calmly addressed the problems and solved them without adding any stress to us. In the end, our project was done on time and on budget. One of our next door neighbours in fact thanked Domenic during his last week for being so courteous during construction - how often does that happen? The pillars supporting a very old porch were 10 years overdue for reconstruction. Andy and his crew carefully braced the roof and got the old pillars down and removed. The newly-built ones are perfect! Andy was quick to respond to any communications and answer all questions. The job estimate was completely accurate with no surprises. The job work site was left spotless when complete even though it had been raining and could have been a muddy mess. I would highly recommend this company. They're very professional and do great work.

andy and mike did a seamless restoration job on our downtown victorian,pargeing,brick replacement and cut out the back of the house to take a new patio door leading to a stone patio with stone planters,the job was completed on time and on budget and with a minimal amount of mess.Ryan T.Toronto
